hi !
ok, there where several times written about how many cards can be connected together, but what confuses me is that why are there on Pulsar XTC 2 stdm space to connect, i have connected 2 luna II to Pulsar XTC on one cable, and if i have free pci slot and free irq can i connect another creamware card to second stdm connector on Pulsar XTC or must be cards connected on single cable, in this case with 4 s-tdm connector or there's just 3 cards maximum ?
thanks

)
love those cards a lot

3 cards max.
i believe the extra stdm busses are for extra parallel bandwidth, or some such thingy.
does this answer the question?

correct
3 cards per system and one STDM cable across all. that is all you need.

3 cards on one stdm. You cannot connect seperate cards to seperate stdm ports.
You only use the extra ports to increase bandwidth on compatible cards. IE if you have two cards and they *both* have more than one stdm connector then you are able to use the extra stdm connectors to increase bandwidth between the two cards.

ok, i understand,
while Pulsar XTC has 2 stdm connector, is there any better performance or speed if i connect Luna II to first and another Luna II to second stdm connector, or should i leave like now , both Luna II connected to 1 stdm cable ?
thanks

i think there should be diagrams in the paper manual that came with the card concerning the different stdm connection configurations.

You're limited to 3 cards due to technical considerations (not just stdm)
