Hi,
as some of you know, I´ll visit Neil in a few days for one week.
Some of you have asked us how we did that or this in our Starchaser tracks.
We thought that it will be a good time now to start this topic, here you should ask us everything you want. So Neil and I can answer your questions together during the next week.

For example, how we have shared the files, how we mixed everything together, how were the stories developt, how we made all those sounds, what happend else during the production time, how you´ve made that sound etc. Please ask freely whatever comes into your mind.

Anyway, to start the ball rolling, below are extracts from a couple of emails between John Cooper and myself, when he first suggested the idea:

John,
1 Are you thinking about how the collaboration works over the internet - file swapping, mixing, remixing, engineering etc?
2 How we approach writing the tracks - storyboards, tempos, keys, who does what?
3 How some of the music is created - sequencing, deep pads, effects?
4 How the mixing/engineering is finalised?

Hi Neil,
Thanks for taking my request so seriously. I personally am interested in the whole thing!
But I realize it'd be very time consuming. Since so many people liked your music, perhaps the thing to discuss in most detail is #'s 3 and 4.
You could talk about #1 and 2 more briefly, or not at all, depending on how much time you want to spend.

John,
We've already posted a few ideas to each other, but don't quite know which way to go, because we could use the workshop study forum or we could do something on the end of the tracks if it is only about how we work together.
