I'm about to make a purchase of a new PulsarII, but the dealer says it comes without the christmasdeal (Mix'n'Master/Synth'n'Sampler) - Is the christmasdeal something that just pops up automaticly when I register the card at CW's site or does it have to go through the store where I buy the card?
Please could someone with some inside knowledge about how this works please respond and help me
Cheers!

If I remember correctly, the dealer you purchased the card from has to notify Creamware. The synth pack then shows up in your Downloads area at the Creamware website.

Your dealer should alert CreamWare to give you the keys if you buy your card before 12/31. If they won't do that, move on and find another dealer! I had good luck with JRRShop, Eric Dahlberg is very nice and helpful.
I made the mistake of thinking I could get keys automatically once I registered with CW, and it was a while before I realized I had to contact my dealer. CW wasn't exactly clear on this, but since we're telling you now, you won't have that problem!
Have fun,

OK - thanks!
The problem is that this dealer is getting new owners 1/1-2004 and they are just trying to get rid of a lot of old stock in the house, so they are not being very cooporative, but they do have some nice prices which I can't find elsewhere
The extra software-package want cost the dealer a dime will it? I think that that might be why my dealer want help me, he's afraid that his offer, which is good, want be as good to him which it is now. But as I understand it now, the Software-package is something that CW adds to the hardware for free right, but only after the dealer make contact to CW, which aren't always easy to get in touch with...
Well I think I'll have to have a chat with that dealer one more time!
Thanks a lot guys!

Thanks for the referrals, guys!
Thomas, we offer free International shipping on software, soundcard, & microphone orders of $399 or more so you might consider checking the site out just in case. In any case, I don't think there should be a problem for your dealer to get the keys for you, it normally only takes me a minute on the phone to get the serial numbers from CW's US branch.

Well thanks for the info Eric - still the dealer wasn't that cooporative when I talked with him the other day.
I understand that you can send anything that I might purchase at your store, and as much as I wanted to do that, the tax barrier between the US and EURO-land simply makes it a bad deal for me, that's why the US isn't really an option to me.
And Stubbe the dealer is SuperSound in Copenhagen - they want 6000 kroner for a new PulsarII-card. It's a good deal, especially if you can convince them to get the christmas-deal for you as well.
I havn't quite decided yet if I'm going to get that single card of theirs, I'm just a poor student, but the deal is so good, especially if the Christmas deals comes along........... I'm waiting to check my bankaccount after payday tomorrow (tuesday). I know I shouldn't do it and then again I know i should do it....
Anyways - thanks for the help everybody and happy new year!
Thomas
