Does anyone know if there is a VST (or Pulsar) sequencer of the type that you get with Fruity Loops or reason.

Ideally it will be able to control both soft synths or external MIDI synths from within Logic (or Pulsar).

Iseams to me that it would be quite easy to build a Pulsar version looking at the arpeg in SFP. It woud just have to sync to MIDI clock.

I want something really simple to add another dymension to my Logic/SFP setup.

hi, Paul
i am enjoying Stepchild very much recenly
in Tracktion that is
it shows up as VSTi and relies on host's ability of routing it's MIDI output to other VSTi
as opposed to EnergyXT, which hosts VSTis withing itself

Flexor sequencers rock in terms of flexibility,
but Stepchild makes excellent sketchpad for drums, workin with it is so quick

thanx for the links paul.

As you said - Stepchild doesn't seem to work in Logic, but this is exacly what I'm after!

Do you know of any other plugs like this one?

Energy has the synth onboard which is not really what I'm after.

I also want the plug to output MIDI information so as I can let it play external synths too. Am I asking the earth? who knows.

Anyway cheers for the help
