I've seen dj Sasha tonight, in The Hague.
Together with Sander Kleinenberg, who's family of a girlfriend of mine, so I could take a look backstage.
It was the first time I saw him playing, I must say he was good.
He seems to be fickle a bit, but not tonight.
Just the boring 2 hour train back home I could have missed

Nice! I only know Sander Kleinenberg from this Global Underground mix I've got by him (which is a great, great mix). Saw him play once when I went to see Darren Emerson in OffCorso in Rotterdam.

Ok!
I also have that album (got It from him personaly

).
Some time ago Sander K. -together with 3 other dj's- was invited to do a remix of a new song of Madonna, but unfortunetly for him she choose the mix of one of the others.
He just finished a new album with new own songs, it will be out soon.

Nice. I did a remix of the Wavy Gravy track off of Airdrawndagger for the contest they put out a year or so ago. I had been meaning to share it with yall, but was concerned about 'distribution rights' as I Elektra records technically owns the track. Anyway, this thread has inspired me to post it anyway. I'll post it in the music forum when I get home from work.

Fits greately with sounds from Ueberplastic

and shows how important a good cover artwork is

I found a reference:
http://www.groovesets.com/Sasha/Singles.htm
the one with the dusty town from above. Inner sleeves are printed in same design and made it really 'drop out' of the stack in the shop
no need to rename your track - it's completely different. This is the wrong place to comment, but since you've brought it up: I did like it a lot and if you manage to replace that sample with some 'real' recording it would be perfect imho
cheers, Tom

nice link Astro

It's a pity they don't offer mp3 streaming of the presented stuff, but I found out already that most sites of musicions or labels etc. don't do this.
My site will do, which will be ready soon now
I think your suggestion to change the trumpet lines by a musicion is a good one.
it would make the song more professional, and better suited to 'the market'.
If I get someone interested in a release I will do that for sure, I just need to find someone who knows how to do it without loosing controll over the 'trance' character of the song.
Glad you liked the song, and thanks for the idea

I've not seen him play for quite a while now but I saw him play a 6hr set with John Digweed on their Northern Exposure tour here in Australia about 6 - 7 years ago now.
It may have had to do with the fact that the most common gear getting around for that event was candy flips but for my mind that was the perfect medicine for the event.
The event only housed maybe 3-4000 people max but I can assure you that they were all there when the sun came up and pretty much refused to leave when they tried to shut the event.
I was also fortunate enough to meet John at the after party that morning. (Please excuse gratuitous name drop)
I'd be lying if I said I could remember anything discussed, what he was like or whether or not I made a twat of myself, (more than likely) but I met him nonetheless.
Regardless, it sticks in my mind as one of the best events I've attended in 13 years of parties. And I'd go to see him again if showed for another one.
