What is your experiences with the combination of sfp3.1c and cubase sx 1?
some guy said that the the sx revision 1.58 is the best.
what´s your opinion?

ok that could be true, but i think sx1 is the one i have and don´t wanna upgrade in the future.
so is there anybody around here who could give me a hint about what version is the best?

...sorry, for kind of joke before, but believe me sx2 is a very bigger/better improvement than sx1 from Vst5.1 (which for me was kind of frustrating, I still was using vst along sx for some lacking edit functions that now were recovered in v2).
I've just upgraded last week, and then my SX 1.6 was running pretty well (as you asked) with my CW system.
However, once again, think about to upgrade you'll never regret it, I can assure you!
SX2 brings several new (unexpected) working functions (it's not about fashion look or toys) at most concerning the use of DSP based systems like ours.
Anyway... the choice is yours

PS: you may check below and all that (though it's on XTC) is valid for SFP mode as well.

SX2 is rock solid, now a great piece of software. I would upgrade if I was you. Sx1 works fine with SFP but for GBP100 the upgade is a must. SX2 is what SX1 should have been?!?

Definetely the 1.6 is the best from the 1 versions...
