Hi guys!

Using Pentium IV 2 Ghz, XP, SPF 3.1c, Cubase SX 2.0, Pulsar II.

I´ve achieved to use the Asio Scope Driver by using Asio2 Source and Dest in the Routing Window. I´ve put the ADAT A Source and the ADAT A Dest, the same with ADAT B.

The problem is I can´t see any in and out from ADATs. I just can see the two analog ins and outs, like before.

Someone said to me that I had to activate Multitrack Record in Cubase SX, but i haven´t found anything alike.

In Cubase you will only see Asio ports (and midi of course)

You have to connect your asio modules set with the proper number of channels to the adat modules in SFP, but Cubase will refer only to asio ports. It's SFP job to send the asio channels from cubase to whatever...adat ports included....

I seem to have the same problem. I have for instance loaded 4 ASIO ins and 16 ASIO outs in my SFP project (using ASIO flt 64 module, or whatever the correct 32 bit module is called). But Cubase (neither Nuendo) will recognize anything else but the Wave dest/src drivers. Running the ASIO setup is no help either. Am I using the wrong drivers or something? Every other app I have tried recognizes them.

what version of sx and nuendo are you using?

cant remember names of the menus exactly, but under "device setup' or something there's the 'VST output', make sure the 'show' option is selected, otherwise when you press 'F4' the asio inputs wont exist. this is in n2 and sx2.

I tested on sx2 and n2. Worth a try, but it is strange that they are not listed in the ASIO setup. Like, you are supposed to run setup before enything else.

I have nuendo2, and asio does show up, but not in setup...What you see in setup are mme devices.. forget about setup.

Launch it directly, and just select ASIO SCOPE in the 'Asio Multitrack' panel.

After that press F4, and configure your inputs/outputs by adding busses in those 2 panels.

Creamware should publish a bunch of videos showing the exact steps to wire things up correctly. I understand how some people can be confused at first...

Delfio2d2, just to clarify, you connect the ouputs of ADAT Source to inputs of ASIO Dest and that's how you get the signal from your adat convertor into cubase.

Treat the ASIO Dest modules as the inputs to cubase and the ASIO Source modules as cubase ouputs.
