Samplaire, I just have the option to manipulate (like download) the shortcuts rather than files.
However I was able to dl a on-line pdf manual this way shortly.
The preferences of I.E. don't give me a clue.
It's the second time in a week I'm confronted with this problem, so I would like to solve this.
Any suggestions how to extend the option-click download options of IE?
You also can pm me coz it's OT here

Valis, yes mac sucks

well, I was wrong, I could dl this file itself as usual!
But I'm sure I could not dl a Realplayer movie file a few days ago.
Everytime I just got the shortcut instead of the file.
Must be one of M$ Realplayer's conditions...? (v.6.08).

Funny it was BTW!

I think the idea of realplayer is that you can't d/l the file.
