Thankyou very much Andre!
I was hoping someone would come up with something like this! I have a friend who was still using pulsar 1.2. I've only just updated him to SFP3.1c and of course there is only the stm1632 mixers and no small mixers like the old dynamixer for misc purposes. Very handy.

No small mixer anymore?

Make a backup of your previous devices before you install 3.1c. After installing you can load or copy the micro mixer or the other " simple" mixers from the backup folder.

but are these "old" mixers stereo phase-coherent?
thats a very important point!

my two mixer devices are really tiny but I have a need for them in all my projects

im using it for mixing main and talkback..

Thanks Very Much! This is very good for those like me having only 4 DSPs, thanks very much, we are going to do a good use of it everyday!

Unfortunately the dynamixer does not work correctly in SFP

Thats strange, because I use it all the time.

If I try to increase the number of channels from 4 it produces an error code and then the graphics get all screwy. I'm talking about the dynamixer that comes with vers1.2 though. I haven't tested the later ones yet.

Im not quite sure I understand this file. THere are two mdl files and no Dev files. Im very confused as to how to install it. Anyone know what folder to drop this in?

Use it in exactly the same way as any other SFP device - put it in any folder you want and drag it into the project window.

hi

which new mixers have phase alignement problems?
does the stm2448 works properly with
more than 20/25 devices in insert
i mean phase alignement problem of course?
Does optimaster psyq and stw limiter
works properly in the master mixer insert
all together?

I tried this to mix down 5 stereo-channels (ASIO) from DAW in XTC-mode, and there is quite some change in output volume compared to mixing these through Switch-it. Any idea why?

Please, could we have some that are not normalized too?

This is pretty nice! Doesnt show up in the livebar for me, which cleans it up alot!

I usually have 8 micro mixers mixing together up to 4 stereo channels each. So my question is basicly if you can combine 2 MX 2 S devices so we can mix 4 channels! Or more.....

either way, thanks!

Cheers,
Harmany

here is how I am using it in a project!

Why so many gain-stages?

well it was easy for me to drop in 2 effecs in the dynamic mixer, then mix those together in a sort if "mix2s bus setup" etc. etc.

I stopped using this setup because it kept crashing.

Now I route 16 channels into 4 busses on the STM2448, I route those busse back into the mixer and do final processing there. It works much nicer.

You place it somewhere in your Device folder, but you can drag the .dev or .mdl from anywhere into the routing window and it should load. This counts for any device.
