My friend had a mindprint envoice. Pretty good preamp, the EQ and onboard comp are well suited for vocals.
He used to plug a NT2a in it, result were mitigated. Using an NT1000 gave alot better results. Great result i must say, alot better than with my Art DPS tube preamp anyway.
But we didn't try it with any other mic, except the standard SM58, but with a preamp like this it wasn't particularly well adapted to capture the richness of the sound.
My .02cents

What´s about a neumann tlm103 or akg c2000b, i also thought about a sennheiser md421 n .
I want to record vocals, vocoder voices and acoustic intruments as well.

those would all be great.the voice(or whatever) you are recording is what makes the difference.all mics are good if used in the proper context.all the mics in the price range of those you mentioned are especially good,so get one and use it.when you get more money get another kind.don't worry,be happy.

Agree totaly with you Gary, the only thing i check usualy is the noise level of a mic. The rest is specific to each mic and can add character, or not, you can like them or not, they are still very good mic.
