What do you think about a piano- and epiano-device like The Grand or mda(e)piano for sfp? I think it's an important device which I'm missing in my collection of creamware stuff

then you surely haven't checked out my rhodes patch. look for it under the modular forum. I've got one for modIII and mod2. My only gripe about it is that it's got too little harmonics, that it gets burried away in the mix. And it also has some issues with the attack. (too weak!)
But anyhow, I think it's the only one available at the moment for SFP, so have fun with it. CW will have one out pretty soon I think tho. So that means I'll have to do some more patching to beat it.

Hi Ken!
Your device looks great! Unfortanely I haven't the mod3 (only v2), so it doesn't work for me

Mod2 users, fear not!
I just finished converting the patch to good 'ol Mod2 format. It's almost a 100% conversion.. just the presets may be a little off.
ENJOY!

if CreamWare keeps releasing Noah devices for SFP, then it looks like it's on its way?

An acoustic piano model would be sweet too. They'd probably have to hire on some serious physics geeks though. The Six String is fairly convincing if one spends the time to really learn how to play 'it,' but a piano is one of the most acoustically complicated instruments ever devised. Hence Steinberg's The Grand being sample based and the algorithms were just for string reverberation and spacial behaviour.
If it were good, and I mean really good, I'd pay $600 for it. Easily.

I'd pay up to 1500 if the acoustic piano modeling was really good. but heck, that's one hard instrument to physically model.
