In the logic Notes on Sounds On Sounds, there is an example of a step-sequencer build in the logic environment

In the August issue of SOS, the Logic Notes section has another (simpler) method of creating a step sequencer.

that thing was featured in the October issue of German Keys mag 1997.
The first such mag I bought and actually the reason for me to have a closer look at electronic music on the PC

The first magazine regarding computer music I bought was also German: Keyboars. OK, not 100% computer music but... It was 1997 (or early 1998), too - first reviews of Audiowerk8 which I then bought, oh, nostalgy
