There will be mono versions for plugins like POLTEQ, N1084EQ, A550EQ? Or they are only for stereo mixes?
Thank you.
PD. Congratulations for your work.

Dear designer,
Regarding the SL9000 compressor I found that the threshold is not low enouph to get it pumping, when I try to raise the input to slam the compressor I also get into the reds at input although not hearing any bad distortion...

Dimitrios

To get compressors pumping you will need to look at your source audio material.

You are wrong here.
I am involved with audio for the last 20 years and I knoow what I meant to say.
I said that the threshold does not go down enouph to make it a useable compressor although it sounds very nice.
Trying to raise the input to have the compressor work hard the input clips.
Regards,
Dimitrios

hi dimitrios,

it is not a problem
you are right,if you work at -16db ,it is not enought for pumping.
I can lower the threshold easily.
I will do it for the bought version.

thanks

Your efforts are much appreciated.

One thing I would love to see made is a GOOD Tape emulator.
You could probably emulate a Studer machine...
If you need beta tester count me in.

Dimitrios

Well, I got it to pump fine, on a allready mastered stereo-file. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by pumping.

In my experience you can easily make any compressor pump by increasing the rhythmic low-end.

Hi Firubi,

For SFP:
install the mdl in your SFP device directory.

For XTC:
install the mdl in the sfp/deviceXTC/.../stereo/...
install the dll in your vstplugin/xtc/effects directory

cheers

I've found that switching the master output from stereo to mono (with my presonus central station connected to my amplifier) i get phase cancellations with all the EV plugs but in particular with the SL 9000 and the sl 9000 master comp.
No other experienced that (BIG) problem?

U are right man but i got that phase cancellations with your plugs only.
Putting you s9000 mastering comp (or what tha fuck is called) in my mastering chain (psy q/optimaster/sl9000/timeworks mastercomp hard) when i swith to mono the sound becames horrible.Without your stuff no problems...so i think i can't buy your plugs for the moment...

i've made some test and i've found that the sl9000 works correctly exept when used as insert in the stm1632 mixer where the phase issue appears.

it's not false kwild, and i think we've found the problem :
it's due to our protection module we use, that we still have modified several times !!!
first all all, it's not a total cancellation and what is more strange it doesn't appear on all plateforms !!!
the protction module seems to react differently in several situations.

We made all of our tests on full non protected versions, and the problem you've found actually exists on protected modules, sometimes ...

we are going on working on this protection module, in order to propose every one something the nearest as possible to the full versions,

thanks again for this remark,
