FB is losing young people who are switching to Snapchat and the like, as you know.
Snapchat has refused FB's nice offer, so they know its chances.
Could be FB is a grandparents lifeline in a few years

I use FB like it's a public place, with an eye on the future when private or job circomstances may have changed.
Mostly It are calls for a party, a pictures show or some stupid joking.
Replies from my 'friends' I do check by the mails, or I check one.
