Report from college showed 29 trillion in bailouts from US FedRes to US & foreign banks (over 60% overseas iirc) to date (13 trillion from 2008/2009 and 16 in 10 through q1 '011) but both links I read this morning are down now (major news sites sadly)...I'll try to find a link if I can.

aaand WHERE does that money come from, since that much currency has never been printed or circulated?
that's right, the bank just made it up, and under what authority it was materialized under is not really clear since it's not a government agency...

No disrespect, but honestly, I wouldn't take my news from a guy that can barely read and skips all the "hard" words. How would you expect him to understand anything that is written?

Don't worry, no disrespect, you're right in your opinion I really enjoy intelligent free expression like yours
Now a question: What is it more important, the guy that hardly reads the news or the news I'm talking about? I don’t either want to be disrespectful with you, but what happened is that I pointed to the moon, and you kept watching my finger

Excellent lyrics and analogy...
I call it my own Private Idaho since I travel from Tahoe ( eden ) to Babylon ( Vegas ) and it works really well for me.
If the trucks stop rolling, my yearly trips to the outdoors have prepared me for a life of survival with the finest weapons, and enoigh juice for musical needs and communications if they still exist.
We need to break it down to start it over, I think it'll be just fine.
Even my friends in Germany seem prepared to work until they're 67 to make up for the years of socialist ponzi schemes.
Over here we must do the same, but in all honesty most Americans do. My 87 year old next door neighbor fell and broke her hip last year or she'd still be working. Now she is 88 and bored to tears, bothers me for a ride to the Casino every Sunday with other local fossils...
I heard Denmark is going to raise the age to 74....
Why is it that Northen Europeans are easy going like the American Middle Class that lost 15 years of home equity, yet didn't riot in the streets wearing red shirts...??
Perhaps in Greece they should check the Syrian vacation spots and see how nice those brave young folks have it...
KIngs and Queens and the worshipping of the elites for divine guidance seem to be coming to an end.
That's the trouble with Socialism, you eventually run out of other peoples money to spend.

It was an attempt at humor and sarcasm.
I was insinuating that if they think retiring at 60 years old instead of 50 is bad, they should perhaps check out the Syrian programs for their people. Greetings at the Emergency Room, Torturing of civilians for protesting peacefully....
The facts are pretty much the same everywhere. The " authorities " know what's best and invest the taxes they collect knowing if an investment goes bad, the commoners get screwed.
You cannot sustain the promised preposturous utopian society they describe without collected revenues, being enough to cover those when they retire.
Retiring at 50 is a great idea. I did, but I belonged to a Labor Union where your credit hours once achieved allowed you to collect it, even if you were 40 years old.
I actually was an Iron Worker and Concrete Laborer. I will get a small pension from the Iron workers when I'm 62, and as of now get a pension from the Concrete Workers which is a decent sized monthly check.
But's that's the AFL-CIO, not some temporary politicians who steal the money and promise to replace it, or just invest in real estate derivatives in the USA which was an act of Larsony, but since they're Obamas buddies, they'll never see the inside of a prison, and as a matter of fact we rewarded them for their theft and failures.
I also get a kick out my beloved AFL-CIO protesting on Wall Street where my Pension is vested. Hypocracy at it's finest.
By Law, the fund is doing so well we get 13 checks a year, so I saw 2 checks for CHristmas.........Sweet.
We are even exempted from the peasants health care programs since our dues money and our Bosses tell Obama what to do.
He is a puppet like everyone else who sits in that seat. That's why having an actor is the best President. Perhaps Ben Afleck or George Clooney can play the role in 2016. We have the worst choices these days. Reagan was the best actor in office we ever had.
We will be voting in new freshmen I hope, as the people are tired of the wealthy Liberals and COnservatives serving themselves instead of the people.
Afterall, why would these clowns spends millions, and even a billion just to get a job that pays a low 6 figures....?
Perhaps, because they care for us and know we need help and hold our hands for us..............NOT.

I know what you mean.
I once had a great drummer. He decided to quit drinking, and suddenly he sucked. His Tom rolls sounded like someone fell down the steps, and his nerves were shot. I started buying him shots and having the waittail cocktress say it was someone from the audience,..... he refused for days.
I finally told him to start drinking again or I would replace him, as I am very serious about who I perform with.
He started up with Beer and then Scotch again, boy was I happy.
But now he is 57 years old, older than me and claims his Liver is shot............
I am sober, and fuck up enough without chugging Jager, so I tell him to shut up and go get a gig instead of crying..
