Everyone noticed........
But most are so busy recording their next album and stuck in dub sessions.
Or slaving 8-10 hours during the day so the elites they elected have a steady
flow of revenue to host summits and expensive vacations.
I just run around stealing things all day, and since this update was a steal,...
I'd thought I'd thank you...

concert went smoothly, everyone had fun.

just tried the release candidate - I can say that it is now modular mixer works much, much better. allows more connections without manual dsp assigning, load more plugins, etc.It turns out that the impossible is possible .. :D

MAN OR MYTH...........................2ZANI

Thanks for the new tools.
There is an incredible amount of mixers, all which can be very specific which I really like.
I really like the G2.
Theideaof having the Group Outs showing or themixer inserts or both is long overdue and brilliant.

it was a user request....

There is a small update available for routers in the user area.
Groupers' update is also online now.

Thanks again Mehdi,
I think we should have paid more for such a vast array of mixer possibilities.
Kind regards

I have to share my latest tip, and it comes from actually using these
mixers as the developer suggest in his numerous well written videos
and tutorals.
The MB7 works best when the dry channel is Bus 1. It then becomes
like the dry part of any effect unit, and can be mixed accordingly.
But I thought I would fatten things up a little so I added the glorious
FAT II-S into the dry channel. Seems like such a waste having such
a useful channel sit empty.
So I tried EQ's and other Dynamic effects and yes they were fun, but
the sound of the FAT II-S is sick.
If you require big sound, it might even help those waspy thin sounding
VST's gain some presence too.
I also have MCCY's Flu_Liq on AUX 1 and SC 5.1 Room on AUX 3.
This is like a giant Mixer/Effects unit combined.
Truly an excellent achievement from SpaceF.

Hi all,

as promissed for this long week end (in case august 15th is also holydays in your country)
a couple of modules for modular mixer.
A new update has been uploaded.

Contains M2 FPL, a 2 mono channel module with all the functions of the modular mixer (linked solo, margin reset, rec channel...).

Also contains an update of Mix 5, which replace the "Master/Wave" switcher by a switch that allows to listen to any channel of the mixer.
Check here for info

For the moment, the new switch is only on Mix 5... it could be included into mix 7 (what do you think ? yes, no ? )

Also, if you are into electronic music, you may be interested by this tutorial "Definitive sidechaining technics", which is now my default scope project.

Have fun and a nice week end.

Mehdi

Man Or Myth...................SpaceF.

Nice tutorial and Mix 5 was exactly what I was looking for last night but couldn't.
It's a great way to have a cut down MB7...

Thanks
and ok for the 7s when i have the time.
I've been working on a completely different sidechaining, which gives more powerful results because the attack is way faster (1/3rd of a mlilisecond, which is about the smallest resolution for triggers in scope from what i have been able to see. Currently, by using an envelope follower, I have a minimum attack speed of 1 milisecond approximately, which is compulsory if you want to get rid of the fast modulation of a wave file (if you put an envelope follower at 0.1ms, the output is just noise.... (the sound modulated by all the shapes of a wave file)
The next step won't change a slighest bit of the way it works now... current sidechainer presets will be compatible on the SC-fast modules .... Sounds better on the "Expand" too (ie, the contrary of the "C-G" used for sidechaining.
It can be a long way though before it is released... running out of time at the moment... I am trying to make a module that uses both technics.
But it sounds so good - when you need a very present volume modulation rather than "compressor-like volume modulation" - that I couldn't resist telling you about it :-)

Here you go

There are a few updates and add-ons, and all is packed in a "Core Install v 1.1" available in the user area.
I think it was worth waiting for that version for a repack. More info on the site
