and i make this question again cause no answer yet.
scopes syncplate says about up to 400khz.
what for? can scope work that high as slave?
if scope is slave does the dsp usage count as if it is master?

what for? why not.......?
yes, if scope is slave dsp usage is the same as if scope is clock master. extreme samplerates are extremely wasteful.

when the original Pulsar cards were released they were also advertized for technical applications (if I remember correctly).
Ultrasound based material analysis or hydro-sonar systems use frequencies from 60-200 khz.

24bit / 44.1 kHz here.

No extremely big audiofiles, no samplerate conversion (at least if the final mix will be on cd), no hassle :)
