EU money is pee in the ocean. RIAA has apparently lost $72 Trillion dollars to Limewire pirates, and now they want it back!

Might take some time to get it as the combined wealth of the world is about $60 Trillion, but they are patient cunts.

You got to love the music industry.

Dude they are full of crap.
I had some royaltys which weren't very much, but we were thrown onto a Songs of the 70s CD which was selling like hot cakes so I got 16k for about 6 years, then the RIAA stepped into in 95 to get NAPSTER, and since then I never have seen but one 60 dollar check in 97 from ASCAP BMI.
Now I play for the same pay I made back then, no raise, just different drunks every year.
But I still enjoy it, but the RIAA has some really good lawyers, and use young beautiful women as spokespeople.
They are pretty shrewd, but dont stand a chance against iTunes.
I wonder who'll represent them this time. Propbably Henry Silverbagel, ESQ. of West Hollywood.
I won't cry if they they lose and fade away.

well, the smug face is correct anyway.

wow, NTN, you really like focusing on the clowns rather than the man behind the curtain. Dorothy and the Scarecrow would be impressed. little Toto might have another idea though...

Wow, guys, a couple of days and it is already difficult to follow up, there is a lot to read and wonder about. Here we go.

I have never heard of Jim Cramer before, no. He may be a genius or an idiot, I don’t know, now, when watching other videos of him, out of curiosity, he is really out of the ordinary. The point is irrelevant anyway if I did or did not, in regard to the global unsettled situation of the European Economy. What is important to realize, is that all media are biased in one way or another, all of them, but all of them have also to reflect “some level of reality” that they distort the way they want, but the presented elements can become the breaking news you need, through your own discernment. Our duty, I think, it is to find out which is the real plot behind their well written words and well spoken phrases. In what cancers to me, I use alternative news detached from the mainstream common interests, but even like this, what I do trust most is my own understanding above all, not what Jim Cramer o whoever else may say. There is a logical enfoldment of events, and if you follow them, you can finally guess what is really going on. What is important is that what this guy said, it is basically true: Europe is entering a period of economical recession. I go to the point and don’t tend to get stack in the details, which are pretty much irrelevant compared with such a significant situation.

Now, the Treaty of Debt, ESM, is even much worst that what I expected to happen, really scary. I don’t think that all the countries in Europe will fall, but quite a few definitely will.

This is something interesting too, even if it happened quite a while ago:

I don’t either know Marc Faber, but here is what he says:
100% Chance of Global Recession

Well, the best thing about Global failure is musicians will be needed to help folks forget that they own nothing and are slaves.
Just like the string trio in the movie Titanic, nobody was really clapping or listening to them, but they were having a good time.
So get your chops together, and a Solar Generator for mobile gigs.

I have an idea already, I shall call my band Street Corner Symphony, and we will work for Food.

What shall we give him? Brown bread and butter.
How shall he cut it without a knife?
How shall he marry without a wife?

Dude they've been ready since 1980 when the hostages became negotiating material.
My son told me once he got his Fixed Wing and Rotary aircraft certifications that they practiced NKorean, and Iranian pre emptive contigincies using Ospreys and Chinooks in Iraq.

Maybe Pannetta will get a Nobel Peace Prize so he can strike Iran.

Bailouts are always good business, if you own the money.
the debt piles up so high that the guy who owns the cash gets legal ownership of everything.

Right as we unravel the conflict of interest in corrupted Liberal politicians taking the Public Unions money, and selling legislation that made the middle class slaves, and also forced the largest migration of business from California to the State Of Nevada where there are no taxes.
Too bad for the wealthy Liberal legislators.
But odd that after such a massive cash saving strategy for each State to use, that Bernancke is floating a Balloon to test out the new " Son Of Stimulus."
I think he has purchased many parts of Europe already.
What a perfect scam, send in Goldman Sachs ( Good Irish Name ) with bad real estate holdings, and sell that paper to the leaders trying to keep the European Ponzi schemes alive, Bancrupt them, now be the only guy with the money to save you, if you do as instructed.......

These guys are brilliant thieves.

These matters have never been a way to pass my time, or amuse myself… They really are serious and objective to me. I have startling feelings of something big that will soon hit Europe beyond the economic crisis which is already there, and it will… I have so many beloved friends in Europe; it is so hard to see it falling down! I have received so much from this magnificent land, its many diverse cultures and wonderful people… I have a great feeling of gratitude for them :(

Some people got into this thread with the aim of getting into endless word of fights, trying to humiliate others through obtuse thinking, making it impossible to communicate in this way; this is not at tall my interest, not the least! I am death serious about the upcoming events that will unfold from this year and the next one, 2013, so this is not entertainment ladies and gentleman, it is real life. You may not be aware of it, or you may, in all your right and justice, disagree with this thinking but everything is already in place. The plans of the evil ones are truly taking place and becoming real day by day. We have gone already through many of these ideas before in the thread, some were not clear a few months ago, but now there are numerous evidences of their reality. There is a war getting ready and the economic crisis is part of it.

I have composed two tracks in regard to what is happening right now, I cannot be oblivious to what is happening. The first one is called “The Falling of Europe”, and as its name suggests it talks about the sad situation many countries are starting to suffer over there: economic crisis, restlessness, unemployment, fights, riots, unfair competition, you name it. And this is just the beginning of it very unfortunately.

The second song is called “Upcoming Riots!”, and it is inspired in events that have already happened in USA and Europe not long ago, but it wants to represent the endless riots that will awake because of the extreme pressure and stress people are going to go through in the next months.

The “Falling of Europe” is happening now, and the “Upcoming Riots” will be the result of it.

Speaking is always insufficient to transmit emotions. Songs can speak emotionally by themselves stressing what you feel:

The Falling of Europe

Upcoming Riots!
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/25529735/Upcom ... ots%21.mp3

I am posting it in the “Music” forum too, so please, if you want to talk about any technical aspect of the music, go over there. If you want to refer to what you feel or think as an impression, related to the thread, keep it here. Cheers.

i can see many of those signs, but i'm hoping for better. even if these terrible things come to pass, as humans, we can scrap the problem systems and start over, like anytime. it's mainly corrupted thinking that is the real enemy.

there is a lot of momentum towards a bad period, though. in any case, talking about these things is better than ignoring them, even if the conversation is superficial, imo. i'm fine with predicting the future, as long as the fact that the future is unknowable until it becomes the present is acknowleged.

That's pretty bad news.
It surprises me, as when I look out of my window the world looks quite peaceful.
Yet you are right, the hidden signs are obvious for those who wanne see.
The big collapse is near, not only in Europe.

Take the terrible riots in Chile yesterday provoked by a pro-Pinochet film.
An Armageddon is upcoming everywhere, and no one can stop it.
I'm worried about Chile, it was always a so nice country and so friendly people.
Maybe a new Victor Jara will stand up and compose a song about it.

A sign the world as we know it is ending are the results of Californian citizens tired of their taxes being raised to feed the corruption that keeps Liberals in office, who sit across from the Union leaders during their negotiations, which BTW fund the politicans campaigns with taxpayer dollars inderectly, and excessive yearly dues money taken from the members and spent w/o thier input.
I have faith in Californians again as I have seen decades of migrations to Nevada of their small businesses, and Middle Class working folks.
Perhaps the citizens will now get the services that their taxes were meant for.
Who knows, maybe the Lottery will actually go towards the public schools and de salinization plants they promised years ago.
Since it's inception, there is no sign of higher education, or the water conversion facilities.
Ironically the Enviromentalists that have their base in California backed by the EPA never seemed concerned that the water they divert form the Colorado River has ruined the Wetlands at the confluence of the Sea Of Cortez.
But that's in Mexico, so why worry about their eco system when you can shake down Californian business where the real money is....
So seeing the gangsters in California losing power is a sign of the end of times.......

Europe has suffered, in front of our very noses what we could call a “polite” coup d’état! All the big guys behind the European move today, belong to Goldman Sachs, this is factual. They are using the same strategy they’ve used many times: they created a false problem and now they are offering a false solution, which will lead to worsen the situation, which is going to become into yet, a bigger problem, so they will offer another false answer until they have taken 100% of the sovereignty of Europe as a whole.

Europe is lead now by the Goldman Sachs’ government.

They have sank European countries through speculation on the stock market, got people crazy out of fear of what could happen because of the markets instability (markets they obviously control every day), then they force them to borrow ridiculous amounts of money to keep their Status Quo up, or even worse, "to save a country". These loans are strictly calculated so countries cannot pay back, as it is the case of Greece. They could not have covered their debt not even in a million years, even if the government would sell the entire country, and it's not a metaphor, it is a mathematical statement!

Then they demand social budgets cuts and privatizations to the detriment of citizens, under the threat that if governments do not take action as required by them, investors will withdraw for fear of being unable to recover the money invested in the debt of these countries and other related investments. In this way, they easily create a high level of social discontent, riots, general unsettlement, which is very much suitable for their dirty purpose, and our poor fellow citizens, been already smashed up like potatoes under a truck, crashed emotionally under the circumstances, well, poor people, they accept anything to, so to say, “get out of the bad situation”. All together being a big lie!

Under this justification, they introduce their well prepared agents, ready for this move for years already, to control everything without much pressure, because they are seen as the savors of mankind, until people realize they are part of the plan… of course… and they will!

This is the largest robbery ever undertaken in the history of humanity and worldwide! This is the biggest illegal brutality and gross violations of the sovereignty of the European states and their peoples ever!
garyb wrote:we can scrap the problem systems and start over, like anytime. .
We sure can dear friend, but we will go first for a period of devastation, so to be able to finally understand the true meaning of life, that for everyone may be different of course, that’s fine and perfectly understandable, but there are anyway parameters that nobody should ever deny, like the fact that “family” is extremely important, “friendship”, “respect”, “cultures”, “ethnicity”, “people’s believes”, “rights and justice”, “healthcare” “people’s natural happiness of existing”, “respect and care for animals and nature”, “fairness in education”, and “environmental care”, to name just a few very obvious things that are no longer obvious at all, AT ALL!!!, because these values or call them building blocks of wellbeing, have been destroyed for the sake of money and power. Yes we can, but for us to be able to start all over again and really succeed, we need for a start a total regeneration of ourselves as human beings, as society and thousands of paradigms will have to die first. We need an enormous shift of values because the values of our present society have shown to be ill and egoist, and have dragged us to the destruction of the very meaning of being alive. As long as money is more important than people, as long as egoism is more important than altruism, hearted more important and more prominent than love, we could start all over again one million times, and so we would fail another one million and one times… If there is no change in the foundation that created our present situation, these changes will amount to nothing, because we will make them based in our old decadent social archetypes that have already totally fail.

We truly need a new world order, but of goodness and understanding, because what this soulless people call the new world order is rather an old disordered world, and nothing but chaos.

Holland lives from European trading, with Rotterdam as European main port.
Democratically chosen parties voted for the current European economical cooperation and the treaty in 2001, and in a representative democracy politicians make decisions, not the public belly down under.

Of course, those politicians and the whole population were mislead by the Goldman Sachs fascists, they all trapped into it, as sheep have have more wool than brains.

Now-a-days however, anti-European sentiments are broad-based, also in conservative parties.
Two (more or a bit less) anti-European parties, one at the most left and one at the most right side of our multiparty parliament, make chance to get the biggest party, with the elections of 12 September.
'Europe' will be a main topic during these national elections...

Sure, elections...poor people, it's all a lie...and they don't know!

Yet, it will be historical elections, as the classic parties in the middle are of the infusion, in favor of the parties at the sides, which are giving voice particularly to the emotionally crashed people.
Nestor wrote:, and our poor fellow citizens, been already smashed up like potatoes under a truck, crashed emotionally under the circumstances,
Yeah, it's terrible. Poor, poor people, they, no we suffer, slaughtered as sheep to, eh the slaughter.
And the picture of those potatoes smashed up under that truck, so terrible true and at the same time such a terrible powerful image.
Fellini would've been watering.

In the meantime, we, in our Holland, overwhelmed by heavy riots and explosions of anger by the emotionally crashed people, we patiently wait for the elections of 12 September and for the time-consuming formation negotiations following to it.

The good thing is: the anti-Islam one-man party of Geert Wilders, the possible winner at the extreme right side, is practice contaminated.

So at the left side the Socialist Party SP as a possible winner could play a central role during the negotiations, especially in the Europe debate.
If they get to get the biggest in seats they have the traditional right to liver the Prime Minister.
Like.

NB. All this talking about national politics of a small country is not really interesting on an international OT forum.

Yet, it shows that one example already is enough to explain the difference between a book by Stephen King and reality.

I'd say:
Europe is in a transition from an economical unity to a economical-political unity.
Our last civil war was WWII, so we're doing something good.
We'll need a few decades to let the process of more democracy, more control on banking, and the division between shared authority vs. national sovereignty, crystallize.
At the moment, we, the emotionally crashed potatoes and the driver of the truck, are now in a state of pulling the brake, as we want to be more of a party in the EU deals.

Interesting developments, also visible in other EU countries, isn't it?

Right, but those riots right under my sleeping-room window every evening...
It's terrible, can't sleep because of all the noise and the screaming of the emotionally crashed people outside.

Can't get the picture of those smashed potatoes out of my mind either, help.

always the one to raise the level of rhetoric beyond reason...
someone cranks up the drama and you want to kick it up higher.

ok, i'll answer your post, but only because it wouldn't be nearly as amusing and funny if i didn't.

look hubird, it's really laughable that the enviable Dutch good life, good for almost all of the nation and many of the immigrants, exists because of some great democratic morals. we all know that Dutch shipping and colonies, the absolute exploitation of other peoples made all that possible. of course, it's the Dutch people's drive, creativity and good sense that made good use of the resources available. you, are riding those coatails, but there's no crime there. there's no need to think that it's anything that you've done or not done tht's made life in your part of the world nice for the majority, either...or maybe not, i don't care.

one thing that you're mocking is what the banking industry has done in Europe. there have to be repercussions to all this instability. isn't instability exactly what the euro was supposed to eliminate? why then is this happening?
http://www.freiewelt.net/video-29/eu%3A ... n-von.html
that movie looks like a perfect model of the action that finally bankrupted the USA.

i do think that Nestor is overly pessimistic when he says what WILL happen, but looking at the regular news, the things he's suggesting are not that WAY out. you think it's laughable that there could be panic and rioting in your rtown, but that's what they thought in Argentina the night before everyone woke up to find that their bank accounts were gone in 2001.

of course, this is just the internet, a little corner of it in fact. nothing that is said here makes a lot of difference but you come here just to try to bust some chops. you are a troll and you may not know it. since all i have to look forward to is a crazy reponse, i suppose i'm kind of a troll too. this is certainly the kind of thing that would make a person looking for decency feel dispair.
