Do I bother trying to delete it all, or just leave it here for a laugh?

I've never seen so many elephants and poop pics in one place before :)
Deleted all of it, except what's left in this thread.
Shall I leave this one here, or axe it?

I have long followed these boards looking for useful information.

However after seeing the treatment you people gave to the member james_poo_little.

I am quite disgusted and will probably not be using these boards anymore.

Funny thing is, "dxl" lasted 8 months here in '01 - '02. Was he the last troll to be banned?

At any rate this forum hasn't had too many hardcore troll attacks in that time.

Again, viva Z :)

It is to be noticed that some "self moderation" and not too many connections helps. John: I don't know really, but did you have to manage hacks attempts against Z once? If not, I'll go with your provider for my website!

We've had our share of hack attempts. I don't know if this webhost is different from any other, in that regard.

There was quite a nasty site "defacement" that occurred a few years back, due to a vulnerability in phpBB 1.3x.

Mostly now, it's just fending off the relentless spambots, and the occasional troll.

I get a good 5-10 bogus spambot accts created daily on mine...
I ban the IP, disallow user names, and 5-10 a day, every day...different IPs & User Names...
