that's a broken link & the answer is Freedom, but such blatant provocation leads to reaction & you know that fine while which puts you currently in deliberate trouble instigating mode ... where I normally am

A pity none of the original Danish cartoons were that funny ! Laughing at frothing enraged fanaticism is a powerful counterforce.

the cartoonist's wife(of the danish cartoon) is a bilderberger. one questions the intentions of the cartoon and remembers the british agents dressed up like arabs shooting iraqi police, starting a riot, arrested, and then saved with a british tank a couple of months ago.....
theater.

I remember that. The story was that the British were military intelligence agents gathering info about insurgents. They were discovered and had to fight their way out. They shot at police since many of the police are sympathetic to the insurgents....
I'm very interested to hear the alternate explanation.

Spirit, the obvious alternative explanation is covered by ocam's razor. the simple explanation is that the "agents" were "destabilizing", just as documents like PNAC and Northwoods call for. it is not the first time "intelligence agents" have been caught carrying out such actions. short memories make the truth debateable....
YOU are a person of morals and trustworthiness. that doesn't make all the people on "your side" so. saying that they're a bunch of lying snakes who worship Lucifer in various "groves" doesn't make one less patriotic.

the bohemian grove is not a theory.
nice pron eyeball....w00t!~
ever noticed how violent crimes using deadly weapons increase the more gun control is in place? maybe it's because then only those who are willing to break the law are armed....

Mmmh... re: violent crimes and guns..... I don't think this is the case in Australia. My understanding is that most of the gun related violent crimes in Australia involved family/friends. Restricting access to guns has reduced the amount of gun related domestic violence.
People involved in the drug industry don't seem to care what they use to inflict damage, so I doubt if it's made much difference in this area.

so i said.
i'll bet domestic violence is more related to alchohol than guns, however....

Is that on off-topic, Zer? Got my attention strongly back on music. Hijacked me beautifully.
Re: Guns and domestic violence.... my understanding is that gun control greatly reduces the "reactive" violence. A very high percentage of gun use in domestic violence was spontaneous, not premeditated.
(Yeah, yanquis... while initially sceptical, I now support gun-control)
In the Australian constitution, the right to bear arms will refer to the right to keep our hands and fingers functional.

Aaw shoot....
I didn't want to get into a debate on gun control anyway. Everyone can make up their own mind, depending on their neighbourhood and belief system.
Anybody seen that movie about the comedians' "in joke".... The Aristocrats... is it worth a look? Or is it one of those movies that SHOULD be downloaded for free off the internet. A guy I met can get practically any movie for free, supposedly. I'm wondering how long it will take the serous stakeholders like Sony to find a solution.

I didn`t need a gun and I don“t need it yet nor will I in the future. If people loose their ability for communication, they loose their lives.

if your government or the bully group down the street have them, sooner or later you will need them.
if you eat animals and you get your own, you may need one.
if you like putting holes in paper while using fireworks, you might want one.
still, a gun is not the solution to very many problems. it is not a toy. it might be life saving. they are for hunting...and killing monsters. i don't carry one, but the right to have it for protection against murderers of any kind, government, personal or mafia is God-given, not government-given, though governments try to regulate and demonize that which they'd never give up(anti gun movements and laws are supported by governments who try and convince the population that the population thought of the idea..)....
i'd be fine with all of the guns being scrapped and destroyed and no more ever made, but you better get ALL of them. a power talisman like that can't be trusted in anyone in a position of power's hands, including and especially the army and police.
do you really think that the elite's body guards will suddenly become unarmed, even with a complete gun ban in place?
o.k., I'm ready for this thread to go somewhere else as well....
and now for something completely different. a man with two noses......

Those cartoons could not in any circumstances be seen as funny or insightful or contributing anything worthwhile to the debate.
The only reason you would enjoy them is if you are a hate-filled racist.
I find that it's a shame, as it brings out the really small-minded, xenophobic European tendencies which I presumed were mostly buried after the colonial era.
The 'freedom of speech' angle is absolutely laughable bullshit.
That is all.

Anyone see the latest images from Abu Ghraib prison? Sexual abuse, even of young girls, smearing prisoners with excrement, outright violence and debasement of humanity.
Any war-sympathisers like to comment on this, preferably with some angle other than outright racism/Islamophobia?
