i have MSI K7T turbo mainboard with AMD 1,2GHz CPU
and lot of problems with it
i know that was a poor choice
but is there any help for it or i need to buy different one?
somebody help?

see subhumans pc recommendations in the tips and tricks section. what sort of problems?
get tweakbios and up your pci latency settings (if your mb doesn't already support). don't fahk this up though!

i have computer jamed,
see blue screen...
have pulsar 1
and pulsar 2.04a software
with cubase 5
win 98

VIA is still a bad choice and unfortunately while you can help the poor performance using the utilities found on <a href=
http://www.viahardware.com/>this website</a>, there is no way to bring it to the full performance of a BX, 815. AMD760 is also a promising chipset as is the new nVidia, but AVOID VIA for best results with reverbs, sample playback and lots of audio tracks.

what about the <b>new via chipset kt266</b>? anyone got the msi kt266 pro running with pulsar/scope?
its structure contains the v-link, a connection between the <b>new v-link southbridge</b> and the northbridge, which doubles the bandwidth of that interconnect.
as far as it comes with a completely new southbridge (afaik the southbridge of the via chips kt133 and kt133a was the 'bad thing' for our cards), there should be no reason why it shouldn´t be suited for pulsar as well as the i815 is...
there is also another promising chipset from sis - ok, it´s no chip<b>set</b> - it´s a single chip...

You might check out <a href=

In short, it's probably a great chipset for the standard consumer and perhaps even gamer, but I personally wouldn't ever use a VIA chipset in a higher end audio work station. For like $15-25 more, you can get a proven, solid choice like the BX and 815. I'm finishing up my second AMD760 (ASUS A7M266) today, so perhaps within days I'll have some more AMD760 results. Preliminary results seem to show that it kicks any VIA chipset out of the water.

i have bought an asus cusl c board and this is an end of all problems i ve ever had.
i am a HAPPY MAN!!!!!
recomand to the rest of the world!
sell everything and buy only ASUS CUSL or CUSL c main boards that will save you your money and time.

or was a disaster to run w Pulsar. I could not load any Reverbs/Delays without having PCI Master Overflows (chk google.com for "PCI Mazster Overflow", just for fun
Now going to get this one, look at it's specs! It's a dual CPU 815 mobo.

Running the 6A815EPD fro a week now, very satisfactory. Only one BSOD, in mediaplayer. Never any PCI error. The deck has dual PCI bus, dual CPU on an Intel 815 chipset
