isn't the Vectron kind of like the Lightwave but with "make your own wavetable" functionality added (amongst other things)?

It looks really nice. Too bad it didn't work.
2 error messages...
1) Problem-can't find DSP file MIDI voice control 16 MP - please check installation
2) Can't find DSP file Mog external input amplifier R1 - please check installation
Using SFP (latest version). Other synths work fine.
UPDATE: not one to give up easily, I went back, rebooted my PC and now it appears to be working. Hmmm.. that's weird.
Having spent only a few minutes so far, I am impressed. Maybe the best CW synth to date? Hmmm.. well, maybe not but pretty damn good job! Will be playing with this baby for a while.
The presets seem pretty cool to me. The critics aren't spending enough time with it. Give it a chance. I like it. A lot! Worth the money. Wouldn't say so if I didn't believe it. Check it out.

to krizrox:> The errors you had is normal. When you install the minimax, and you boot SFP first time it says that you should restart your software, ONE more time (strange, but thats the way it is!!). You missed this information, me thinks...
I quess Minimax has putted some DSP og script files in the SFP directory, so it needs to be restarted.
So far I REALLY like the minimax. Good lord it sounds nice. And good presets, too. I found myself playing several minutes with some of them (thats a good sign!).
I dont care if it's a 1:1 of minimoog, all that means something is that it sounds very inspiring and has a mean attitude, especially thoose presets, where the OVERLOAD lamp starts to shine
See you around.

HAHA! Now you DEFINTELY sound exactly like dxl!

Lighten up dude. If you can't take a bit of joking around without starting to attack people and start yelling "fuck" maybe YOU should be banned too! Or maybe just leave of your own free will. As a matter of fact I don't really understand what you're still doing here since your comments regarding Creamware seem to be of the negative kind only.
This forum is a about sharing ideas, sharing knowledge, having a laugh and having a good time making music. ANY music! Good or bad it doesn't matter one bit. If you make "good music" it does not make your opinions more valid, nor the other way around. If there's things about CW someone doesn't like, they are free to express their worries and concerns here in a civilised manner, without the pathetic bitching and preaching the "truth about Creamware" (even more pathetic). DXL couldn't live by these simple "rules" so he got banned, it seems you are on the same road. I really don't want to attack you personally, but your post was just way out of line IMO.
Sorry for causing another scene like this, I just can't stand all this bitching over nothing.

Gentlemen, please chill out.
I almost removed algorythm's post when I saw it -- I private messaged him instead asking him to try to be civil (and try to forget about DXL!) After seeing Late's reply, I wish I had been able to prevent it.
Late, I understand you were provoked and frustrated by Algorythm's comment, but your reply was a really self-destructive, stupid personal attack.
Bad vibes are always a bummer for everyone. Late, if you click on the edit button below your post, you can go and revise or remove what you said. I won't do it for you, but just realize that posting like that can only turn everyone in the forums against you.
People, DXL is still banned (by IP address and id). I don't think Late is DXL. Aside from being abrasively composed, I don't think his earlier posts in this thread were wrong, or deserving of criticism.

I'm sorry for maybe coming over too aggressive in my last post, I normally am a nice guy

but I was tired and a bit hungover so....
Algorythm's "dxl" reaction may have been not the best, but it was understandeable and just a bit of in-joking anyway. It was provocative but certainly not a direct personal attack like Late's reaction. I didn't think it was really un-civil.
I really did think Late's reaction was very rude, inappropriate and certainly not an attitude I like to see on this forum (or anywhere else for that matter).

There are lots DXL in Creamware Forum, are you afraid of them?
To me it looks like you have losed control to suppress the outrage people there but here no one creamware haters since to have the confidence to say whatever they want to.
I won't delet or edit any of my post, what is there has already being read, edit the post is meaningless and I don't feel any guilt.
You hate DSP/CPU comparson it's alright, it's just like Mac/Pc comparson.
same sort of fight but we all know who is right.

200 beans seems like a lot for faster envelopes, an audio IN, and less polyphony. At that price, it seems only the absolute Moog purists would oblige. But if they charged maybe $50 to owners of the Synths I bundle, I think most of the user base would be hard-pressed to turn it down. My guess is that the Minimax will replace the other two in the Synths I bundle within 6 months anyway. After all, who is going to spend big $$ on a Scope card and not get the good Mini with it?
