dB(A) is just the dB value inside your equal loudness curve derived from the dB on Y-axis.

It would be quite hard and DSP using.
Difficult since the channel meter would not represent the 'sample value', but a measure for the current frequency according to earing sensitivity at that frequency.
Some multiband-ing could make the process easier :wink: dB(A) is unuseable for other than 32flt recordings, cos it does not have a 'roof' of 0dB, as maximum sample value ie. in 16bit.
Anywayz, I'm not a programmer, I have only think paths.
