psy q, optimaster & graph eq

i never heard bbe-hardware, but tried plug-in. exciter section of psyQ sound much, much better than bbe for my ear and psyQ have more cool functions.

with optimaster (and psyQ) i have better and better results.
btw: i was vst fan (i'm still), but this tools will change my concept and sound.

i already miss dsp and my second board what i sale.

with first money i will buy another pulsar again rather than uad-1.
i'll buy uad-1 after that

Oh, I surely believe that when you apply "Psyq" whith care, that it will be mono compatible... No manufacturer is that stupid to provide us whith a tool that generally crosses that 90° line.

Ofcourse BBE Sonic is a nice tool as well, but I think that it´s really specialized for certain tasks rather than being a tool you can apply to your sum. Restoring dull sounding takes and bringing life to your guitars might be the target application.

When applying something to your masters, there are no compromises to take. Signal integrity, bit accuracy, minimum distortion/jitter/phase-shift philosophy, all sorts of equalizers (because they are all just specialized for one task only), bin/inter-aural stuff and ofcourse all the basics of "acoustic phenomenons" that should lead you through your decisions... I think that our Sharc DSPs are a good premise for doing that kind of stuff... There will always be sonic differences between native and DSP based processing... Nonetheless you have to do whatever is necessary whith whatever tool it takes to fulfill that...
