What? It IS a norm, cause using C++ you have freedom to write any algorithm or required logic. I'm also a developer of this kind of electronics, but I should use some DSP kits and couldn't write for my XITE cause I don't have a dongle -- old is obsolete, new isn't ready. I can use the graphical SDK only. And I think that there every second or even the first lad can write the code if he'll see to some code examples or guide. It's completely not a rocket science, C++ is just a native language that all people know and use from the childhood.

please read more closely :) no one said anything about how hard it is, or if it is done elsewhere... the discussion is about the scope platform itself and whether third party scope developers have the dongle and create new modules for sdk using dsp code.

Let's see, a) I can't write new atoms cause right now I can't buy the dongle -- the old is obsolete and out of stock, the new isn't ready and not awailable, and b) if would be available some code examples or guide there are will be more developers for this system. I also have ADSP kits but I didn't find any examples how to integrate my code to SCOPE so I already made all I want anywhere outside XITE.
