stop yelling.

Scope PCI cards work SUPER well in Z87 and Z97 motherboards.

please calm down.

here is a Z97 motherboard with 3 PCI slots:

here is one with 2 PCI slots:
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z9 ... fications/

both work great with Creamware PCI cards like a Pulsar2 or a 15DSP card.

OK YOUR RIGHT I SEE THE PCI Z97 SERIE SORRY!
but read this
https://www.gearslutz.com/board/music-c ... ubt-3.html
in this motheboard PCI IS BRIDGED TO PCI-E.
some say that it can cause problems on multi dsp platforme.......(mykerinos problems)
i personnaly have problem with Z68 with is also bridged to pci-e
perhaps the chips between pci and pci-e had change and have better performance the the Z68 bridged chip.
using direct link beetween cpu and pci seams to be be the better for multitrack dsp work.
so

you are talking about an obsolete hardware standard.

yes, Z87 and Z97 work well with Scope cards.

of course i know about trouble with PCI bridged to PCIe. the current motherboards work really good anyway.

and it's the same with ceramware pci card...

then he's the only one.

probably, his motherboard isn't working correctly.

from the masterverb thread:
Just finish build new home for my 1 Pulsar II, this is the result:

Intel i7 4790k
Gygabyte GA-Z97 D3H
32 BG ram Corsair 1600mhz CL9
SSD Samsung 840 pro 256 for System
1 Pulsar II
Win7 64

With blank project and only with Masterverb i can load 9 Masterverb, wiith 10 i have the PCI overflow message. With my old system (P4 intel 2.4ghz dual core with Gygabyte 965P-DQ6) i have exactly same result!

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA H97 HD3
CPU: Intel Core i5-4590
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 7880
RAM: 16 Gigabytes
Windows 7 64 bit

Pulsar II + Powersampler

DSP maxed out on 11 Masterverbs without PCI overflow :)

I think the boards quite like this new "home"!

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA H97 D3H
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460
Graphics: onboard
RAM: 8 Gigabytes
Windows 7 64 bit

Pulsar II + Luna2

Loaded 11 masterverbs and ran out of DSP on loading 12th
PCI bandwidth did not max out still

:)

there are others, but....

or don't believe me, it's fine...

I had a bad motherboard, RMAd it and the MasterVerbs test was fine after.
