Well hello fellow scope-enthousiasts.
Glad my old account is still working as i'm currently banned for registering for a new account haha.
I very pleased with the positive reactions here on my plugins. So the hard work is worth it!
But: I do apologize for any inconveniences on the issue with these plugins used as an insert (somehow that got throught, althought we tested them thoroughly). Am currently working on the solution for this, so an update is on it's way. Thanks for supporting me and ofcourse Sonic Core.
I posted this also on my website
http://www.dnamusic.nl in Questions&Answers.
There is also some more info on the link feature of the dNa-MasterCOMP. (page of the plugin)
Sidequestion: Is it wanted that the tubes of the Stereo Equaliser are animated? Pop me a message if you think so. It will use up some resources though(and real tubes (except for real powertubes) do not dynamically glow

....but hey.....pc's have come a long way since the introduction of the platform.
Back to the drawingboard for me.

How does the MasterComp compare to Manley Slam ?
It's capable of limiting, but not like the dual slope AES/EBU Manley.
That expensive piece of hardware so far has not been replicated.

I'd recommend "NO".

Resources are important! If anything, I think someday (2-3years?) touch surfaces/screens will become a large part of studios, so making the interface touch friendly would be higher on my wishlist for the gui!

it's something that a developer would enable or not enable, so it's really not a bug. that doesn't mean that the developer can't update the plugin.

The plugins have been fixed and already uploaded by Sonic Core. It should work fine now as insert.
It was so minor i haven't given it another version number. Just overwrite the .dev with the new one in the package.
Please download your latest version at their ftp site.
ftp://ftp.sonic-core.net/software/3rd_Party/dNa/
Enjoy!
Thanks @SC also for the fast service!

Haha Gary....the speed of internet ey!
For developers: Make sure the output pads are named correctly. OutL and OutR instead of the lowercase outL and outR...No wonder, this can be overseen so easily. (go figure it ey)
Didn't know windooze was soooo case-sensitive whoaahahahahaa. LOL

Animated tubes is not important to me either, save the resources - sound first!

RA does these plugins work at 96khz samplerate? Has any of you PZ members tried them at 96khz? If not tested will someone please test them at 96khz?
PS. I'm using XITE-1.

Yes, they should work at 96kHz. For me, on older scope-boards/pulsar they do.

I just want them.
But I guess asking for OS9 support is too much these days

Thank you both RA and yayajohn. I just ordered the Mastercomp compressor since i like the audio demo and specs and price. If i have a good experince with the compressor then i may buy the EQ soon. Would love a worthy replacement for my bx_digital, the platform needs it now that Brainworx is gone (good riddance to such selfish developers. I doubt i'll ever buy another plugin from them again.). Now we meed a transient-designer replacement since that is gone to (hint

) .

@Ray: nice tunes on your website, the sound is incredible! I've been playing with your devices for 24hrs and I really like them.
@Soundesigner: I have a feeling you are going to like both devices.......a real bargain IMHO.
@Mr. A: anxiously awaiting your expert assessment

(do you have BX2?)

The double slope thang - yeah now I remember. What about the DnA StereoEQ vs Massive Passive ?

If you can animate VU meters then why not tubes?
Clients will like watching Scope in action
Besides, Scope 6 may be better on resources (???)

Or how about an option to have the tubes glowing or turn them off if working on a heavier project, thus freeing up resources if needed?
