What i don't get is this though, why could you not let sonic core sell all the other plugs that you have done if they already sell some of them?
>>>>>

yes yes, i must send a Modular Mixer pack to SC... it should be on their site may be in september or sooner.
For BlackBox II, it is a totally different type of license/activation method, and can only be sold/registered directly, by producer to user.
You never know, may be the shop will re-open in the future (not a prediction, just something possible).

Hi spacef,

I really hope you do reopen your shop soon.

I only just found out what the bb2 actually all includes and would have bought it instantly, if I could afford it. How much would it be btw? I could not find any old info about the pricing.

Xite - compatibility is not important to me, since I'm not going to buy one, I'am holding on to my pci-cards. I think, I'm not the only one, so you surely could still sell the bb2 as it is.

BB2 has the most complete collection of Filters I have seen to date.
Also if you're into using Modular, you can use the SpaceF effects Module, or Quad FIlter and joystick your way around, or dedicate an LFO for modulation, and it's heavenly.
If you're into motion, SpaceF will easily fill that niche.

I still don't have any idea about the price tag of the bb2. I only found sales ads like 40% off, but off of what?
Does anyone remember how much it was, please?

BB2 does not use regular keys but insert devices that oblige you to have a "Creamware" folder on your C drive, otherwise no sound...
I don't have anymore of these insert keys for the moment, i must make new ones.
So even if I wanted to, I can't (really no time for anything else than work these days).

And again, I didn't stop selling for something related to scope/xite world, but it was necessary to "turn the page" and do something else and.... it worked ;-)

"Would you like to now more?"

Yes! :)

I do business administration in a start up design company (design, printing, publishing)... nothing to do with music (I was in music biz last year, it didn't work too well, eventhough better than for a lot of people i know who signed with major labels like Universal France, AZ? or Sony. and I am happy to be out of it "professionally").
Now, no time to be bored ;-) Even device-making and music have been useful to know better about graphic software and computers.

Hi Mehdi,

Thank you for your kind reply, looking forward to see you as a developer again. May 2012 bring us the XITE SDK.

Happy new year to all!

Open the shop dude. :D
Surely you can do it as a side business. How long does it actually take to make a key for the devices you made?
Or could you not just hand the devices over to sonic core (some of your stuff is already on the sonic core shop) to sell and just sit back and make a percent when they get sold?

>>> How long does it actually take to make a key for the devices you made?

for the blackbox, probably close to 1 hour for the first key (and including the emails).
for the rest, I don't have a key-maker myself. Activation has always been managed by creamware or sonic core.
People can mail me but spacef-devices will be hard to reach (late replies to emails) until the end of september i guess.
Until then, I hope everyone is having a nice summer time out (or in) ;-) (or winter if that's the season where you are located).
All the best
Mehdi

there is a "repack 3" available in the BlackBox area.
It contains the latest additions/corrections.
It is the only thing you need to download at this date.

Hi just a heads up for those who are looking for BB2 presets (as someone mailed to me yesterday).
http://www.spacef-devices.com/index.php ... d=5&cid=17

I have also updated the BlackBox Area with links to the presets and freeware section.

If your never going to sell black box 2 ever again. Why not just remove the need for a key and have a "donation" option and allow us all to get our hands on it.
