Not XITE-1 but other things in the past.

If someone lives in UK he is lucky.

When it was first announced, the XITE-1 would have cost the equivalent of £1970.
Now it will cost us £2403.
Oh, how lucky we are in the UK! :(

still I don't get it why there is another drop in price. it can't be different VAT alone...
btw, the status for germany was updated, too ;)

kinda wonder what happened if I ordered from the UK page, since it recognizes my login... :D

Just to clarify this because I've received 2 PMs about it. I'm not absolutely sure if it's possible to buy an XITE-1 direct from Sonic Core. I only suggested it because I bought a 14dsp card direct from the company 2 1/2 years ago, but that's when it was still Creamware, so I'm not sure if this is still possible or not. You'd have to ask. I bought the pro card direct from the company because I liked the idea that the company were getting my money rather than a shop. :)

In the UK you can order through http://www.production-room.com at a great price.

They are taking orders now with a short lead time on delivery

Give them a ring and ask for Shaun. He's there on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays.

still lucky UK:

From GERMAN company Thomann to Austria (close to Germany): http://www.thomann.de/at/soniccore_xite_1.htm - 7,5 Euro Shipping 19 % VAT
--> 2906,5 Euro
VERY SAD AUSTRIA

From GERMAN company Thomann to Germany itself: http://www.thomann.de/de/soniccore_xite_1.htm - NO SHIPPING COSTS 19 % VAT
--> 2899 Euro (2436 without 19 % VAT)
O.K. GERMANY

From GERMAN company Thomann to U.K: http://www.thomann.de/gb/soniccore_xite_1.htm - NO SHIPPING COSTS 15 % VAT
--> 2699 Euro (2346 without 15 % VAT) (2403,7 GBP at Thomann)
LUCKY U.K.

So I don't understand why a product "Made in Germany" is sold more expensive in Germany/Austria than in the U.K. by THOMANN!
And to Austria shipping is more expensive than to the U.K.???

:-?

And if you take the exchange rate from 18.5.2009 it's 1:1.1321, so 2403,7 GBP are 2721,24 Euro --> still cheaper.

-Ben

I was informed they would have Xite-1 listed for sale on their website by the end of Monday as they have a confirmed price.

However, if you contact them they are taking orders with a short leadtime on delivery.
Shaun is the main guy to speak to as he is knowledgable about the product having had a history of using the cards.

It seems in a few weeks they are to be having a launch party in Leeds for Xite-1 at the Production-Rooms where you'll be able to get hands on with Xite-1 to witness it's awesomeness.

I'll post details as they become available

I initially considered flying to Germany to buy one as this was going to be cheaper in airfare than the VAT (which does cover customs duty in the EU) and bringing an Xite back as hand luggage but I'd also considered getting it posted to some German friends and having them reboxing it and posting it as a gift parcel to avoid any extra duty. But none of this has been necessary now as there are great deals to be had :o

I think that sales done outside the EU don't pay VAT...I might be wrong, but I think so.
