I am now convinced that I have to redo the show and will PM those who ask for it with a download link ... (in the current state, with the crackles etc, it is not something i would be happy to provide for dl).
I'll do that ...err..."soon" ... :-)
(i'll try this week end, it should not take long).

Sadly my current work (4am starts) means i do not get to listen to much and am in bed pretty early, so i wouldn't mind a link.

This sounds absolutely great!

I would like to know exactly how much work went into this.
How much time went into creating this mix?
Did you write the tracks in a thought-out order or did you decide on the order later on?
Are there a lot of "live" elements in here?

If this is the second installment of a SpaceF mix, could we possibly get to hear the first mix?

:)

half of what it takes to bring them to their end in a "standard production"
here the intent is not about standard production but spontaneous writing...In most tracks, the preparation work was on the drums, which are the backbone of the session.
There are loops and hand made drumming (drum pads) but it is quantized anyway and rearranged. on track 4 is almost only impros (input quantize can be helpful!)...

How much time went into creating this mix?
approx 6 weeks to create the 4 first tracks (short sessions of 2 / 3 hours every 3 or 4 days, or less...).
one of the track is older and is just a mix that i play (added delay on the whole mix sometimes). more tracks have been made but not as good.

Did you write the tracks in a thought-out order or did you decide on the order later on?
I changed the order of 2 tracks at the very last minute but it is more or less chronological

Are there a lot of "live" elements in here?
If "Live" means that there is an audience, then only the voice-over of the broadcasted 1st session could be really called "live".

Each track would take 2 pcs with 1 scope board each = 2 players of various scope synths or vstis (one LBH operator, managing sample crossfades and pattern changes etc, and 1 multisynth operator. Both also manage various vstis-romplers depending on the tracks) . A 3rd player should be added for some mix/effects automations not doable with 2 hands (hardware controllers, drumming, loop works etc) and occasional guitars.Track 4 allows extra players to go have a beer, while only 2 are needed to play synths and guitars, except if one wants to stay to play drum-pads improvisations for the drums. (In xite it can be 1 single project with all keyboards/controllers plugged in usb to cubase which re-dispatches the midi where needed  ).

If this is the second installment of a SpaceF mix, could we possibly get to hear the first mix?
May be try to PM "Capacitor" if he still has this one ?

Maybe we misunderstood each other. I thought this was the second mix you presented on Vombat. Capacitor sent me the link to the original transmission of the mix you did on Friday.

Is there another, completely different set you did?

There is a podcast available, but quality is not great (it is as broadcasted and heard though).

http://www.vombatradio.com/artist143.htm

There should be a high-quality upload later in May.
