A Festive Day @ PlanetZ,

Brotha' Man Foona did some cool grooves @ 2:00PM Pacific, and then I come back to find the Warp69 18 Stage Phaser..........ankyuvarymush...
This puppy is FAT and Thick.
I can already see this will get used immediately, even though it is in bad need of a facelift...just kiddin' Warpie..
This appears to be an all in one Phaser as it mixes in dry signals, and the feedback is really wide sounding....
This is beautiful, and I have 7 hours to play with it.

Thanks Warp.

A high pass before the low pass on the wet signal path would be nice. :D

This is a very much needed device IMHO.
I know Shroomz will give it his best as he always does.
Between you two guys members here will have one more option of coloring their musical ideas with a fresh tint.
Hat's off to you both.....
And thanks so much for you time and talents.

2 months of whiny comments and contraversy cannot overshadow one week of an excellent development made by a couple of chaps collaborating....

Got a name we can chew on yet ???

As Kirk said to Sulu.................." Warp Factor 18 ".................aye yi Captain.

Plain Old Warp Factor is cool too.
Knowing Shroomz we will see something really unique instead of some generic picture of a crusty stompbox....

OK! :o
You Guys never stop to amaze me.

I always thought the Creamware phasers lacked the real mod sound and now you come with this! I feel for you it's like playing Oblivion as a Wizard: you can extend the basic stock spells, giving them the depth they lack. It's a kind of magic to me!

CAN'T WAIT to get my mouse on this one!!!

Get Outta Here...
I was imaginig those unique blue sliders and tracking LED's, etc.
Kinda like the Xtreme Cut.
Beggars can't be choosy though, but a Warp/Shroomz device will be awesome no matter what you guys come up with..
This beauty can emulate a phaser pedal, but seems to lean towards the sound of a Module from Tomita's Moog 100 on the Snowflakes Are Dancing LP/CD.
I am still trying to tame it.

What were thinking about anyway Shroomz, inquiring minds would like to know?

Here's a clav-like section to hear the sweep, then repeated with a sustaining note.
This device needs a Leash..

Usually Phasers are associated with sweeping noise which is desirable at times, but for more subtle effects a low noise level is greatly appreciated.
I have been able to get great watery resluts w/ very little noise, except when a time based effect carries out the sounds after the notes die out.
Below is a Modular II patch I use for FM EPiano's and the noise is barely noticable.
Also the device has lots of color and the Feedback and Cutoff knobs allow one to alter it to taste with very noticable results, really nice Warp69....

Tusind Tak :D

hey i totally missed this thread... thanks to those who thought about me, but apparently there is already something going on :-)
Martin was nice to tell me about it about it at last Musikmess, that he planned to do something like that and asked if i was on the same way... A nice request, but he didn't need my approval :-)

The only phaser planned here is not a competitor of Martin's phaser at all, just a modification of MultiSynth phaser. it will be removed from multisynth to make it an mono-to-stereo satellite, and a regular satellite for BB2 (or 3?) and other current devices + it is only one half of a famous circuit, so the second half still has to be implemented
That's also something i told martin last year, but he was faster than me :-) + mine is much less sophisticated, much less modern sound, close to some old recording Mr Arkadin and I know well.
But I would like to upgrade to pci-e first anyway, and finish the big devs i've been working on lately.... Also port some of the stereo effects to xtc, things like that.... I am buzy actually !

so count 200% on Martin for this one (and shroomz for the interface)...
So it was just to thank the people who thought about me :-)
