There is a german word Kumpan (literally crony).
Gary would find out that it has a latin origin cum pane.
It means sharing the bread together.
This is what decribes this feeling at home.
There is at least one part of my soul that still goes beyond that and depends on more than human socialisation for being at home.

I think the Scottish 'lakes' (not 'lochs') you're thinking of are actually English 'lakes' in 'The Lake District' since Scottish water is a fair bit further afield.

While he can still live in the UK, Mohemmed Al Fayed still hasn't managed to get a UK passport, despite being one of the richest people in the UK and contributing a lot to British society - because he is fundamentally at odds with the Royal Family. They have more power than you think (especially when it gets personal).

the Royal family and Fayed are more personally connected than the public show would indicate.
as you may notice, passport or not, the man does as he pleases, or he does his job, depending on the point of view...

				did he?
you assume that is a bad thing...
afaik, he moved to because
he was mad at the UK. afterwards he got what he wanted and moved back saying "the UK is home"...i don't think he's ever been significantly inconvienienced....

				no, he's still there.
yes, he's a lackey, but on a higher evolutionary level than commoners such as post here. mere commoners can't understand...
