True,

But maybe it is easier/cheaper to buy a used Luna/scope home board (sold around 100 € without any special plug-ins) than to buy the câble !!!
And then, you get a little extra DSP power.

My 2 cents

YiannisK,
he has an old Scope SP card. there is no connection for the cable whip. the i/o plate he has is a 24adat plate(stock) which only has 3 adat lightpipe pairs. the other card is a syncplate.

the breakoutport (looks like an old parallellport) to the right in the picture is midi in/out/thru. I belive a new plate or extra card would be nice. the external boxes are nice, but expensive.. (except for behringer/samson ++ but the I dunnot like behringer preamps. it sounds so small..) I might just by a RME ADI-2 or an apogee mini-dac or something like that. Or just the creamware a16.

Gary
Sorry I thought it had the connection for a cable whip with all I|O's
Did not know it was a SP board.

I think you should get a secend hand S|C home card for your I|O's
More DSP's and better Latency as others ave mentioned

I wonder, How do I get analog i/o on this card? Do I need an expansion card or just a breakout cable. Only breakout cable I've got is i/o/th midi (6 con), connection is to the right.

Thanx for helping me!
Best Regards

normally, the whips for those cards only have midi (2 midi hardware i/os).
The adats are the only way to get sound out.
The easiest (and may be only) solution is to use an adda converter. So your problem is to find one with only 2 stereo i/os at the same price as the ones with plenty of i/os :-)
or a second hand Luna as was said, to gain a bit dsp and analog i/os. May be keep the syncplate because someone told me it improves the system when using more than one card in a pc (?true?)
good luck :-)

Looks like there is no ADAT interface on that one.
Neutron is looking for the same kind of interface but with more I/O in that other topic:
http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 19&t=25956

By the way, as already mentionned you have 3 choices:
- getting one ADAT to analog interface like the behringer ADA8000, a used Creamware A8 or A16 ...
- getting one extra scope Home/Luna/Elektra or whatever its name 3 DSP board
- combine both solutions for maximal comfort !!!
