Bing, I fear you will find it hard to get a "down to Earth" opinion round these parts about a product which is rapidly acquiring the nickname of "The Flying Pig". Especially with the current level of hysteria.

I guess the software will operate in exactly the same way as it's merely an update from what we got already. Same stuff, same operating procedure.

PS Hubrid, great pic!! :D

it's London's Battersee Power station known from Pink Floyd's inflatable pig stunt.

Battersea Power Station

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battersea_Power_Station

"The inflatable pig seen tethered to the power station reportedly "broke loose" from its moorings and veered into the flight path of Heathrow Airport before landing somewhere in Kent. On subsequent photo shoots, sharpshooters were hired to shoot it down if it went astray."

The BatterSea power station in London.. and some emulation of PInk Floyd's cover of Animals

(ok, maybe you were only being sarcastic and I'm too tired or too naive to see it  )

You won't find any unbiased reports here. This zone is for yes men and brown nosers only. Be careful what you say as they are ready and willing to attack you for any view they don't agree with.

OK, I thought it was quite clear that this thread was a complete joke, but I just received a pm from someone here basically stating that he'd be sorry if some people really believed we tested 131 MasterVerbs on the new Xite-1... I'd be really sorry too. So here is the truth:

WE NEVER TESTED MASTERVERBS ON THE XITE-1, this thread was just posted for fun. I haven't even set foot in frankfurt

My deepest apologies to the people who might have thought this was true :(

What's funny it exposes how little a sense of humour you have these days, everything is negative, negative, negative...

There's a difference between an opposing view and a constantly negative (read: getting tedious) one.

From a brown-noser (which is apparently what you are if you say you like a Scope product  )

I think legros is just having fun, while inadvertantly exposing the various personality flaws of members.

Anyone who would have been at Messe would have surely been more interested in something other than 100 + Masterverbs, that's just a great joke, as we all know it is capable of so much more.

I 4 one appreciate the humorous thread though. :D

BTW how many A100 / P100's di it load ?

you are right on S4L and I guess this is a classic case of 'people see what they want to see'

but, 131 masterverbs??? ya freaks!! hell i'll be completely amazed if it can load 20 on a laptop (btw, is there anybody here who's workflow been interrupted at any point because of this limit?) the mv test is designed to expose one particular limit of the system, nothing more. I've been using Creamware/Sonic Core to record songs quite often over the years and never been bothered.

as nightscope put it the level of hysteria is quite high on planetz since Holger posted that fabulous xite-1 news.. it is that level of hysteria that made me create the thread, just to make fun of that factor.

worked pretty good too ;)

Calm down guys, xite-1 is most likely one more step into the future of computer based recordings and productions, and we should be thankful there are passionates like our SC team and third party devs who have the talent to build those things and make our artistic lives easier

alright I will stop there because I'm starting to feel like I'm preaching or something
scope4live wrote: BTW how many A100 / P100's di it load ?
well since you kindly ask:

two of the astronauts currently working on the ISS were able to return the xite-1 to us and we further tested with A100/P100's...

At 258 the xite-1 had enough energy to reach the speed of a gazillion light years/s and is about to transmit back secrets about the origin of the universe.. just cross your fingers guys, this is it

... Natürlich wurde die Scope XITE-1 auch auf der Musikmesse Frankfurt präsentiert und Ralf Dressel von Sonic Core war so freundlich, uns das Audio Interface vor laufender Kamera zu präsentieren...
