There was this band from Montreal years back that me and my first girlfriend went to watch live while I was in Miami in 1975. I was recording in Criteria studios then on Ocean Blvd. and intensely studying jazz theory and composition. She said one night she would take me to see a great band at the Fontainebleau. It ckanged my life forever.

I got to see Gino Vanelli play live. I was so stoked watching Joe Vanelli kick bass on a Mini Moog while playing these super cool voicings on a Rhodes.

I loved the sound of that band, they were hot and so was Gino. The girl raped me and I learned then that taking girls to see these romantic kind of singers is a bonus for us guys. This happened a few years ago when I took WJ to see Julio Eglasious.

At any rate that hard to get Fender Rhodes suitcase panning w/ E.Mistress is a cinch on the Liquid thingy.

I just finished learning an old cheezy balled called I Just Wanna Stop. As the voicings on the Rhodes were so fuckin' cool even nowadays. This with my new Scarbee Black Bass and Minimax mixed and the Scarbee Rhodes w/ Liquid is INFUCKINCREDIBLE !!!

Steely Dan wished they had this back in the day.

Hate to remind you Martin that this effect is to die for.

I shall be quiet now. That is until you come back at us w/ even more refinements. :D

Yes Brotha' Man Stardust.

I have been so consumed w/ the Rhodes obcession that I haven't tried anything else.

I stuck it in Prowave's inserts on a SAW PWM preset.

Fuckin' A. It sweeps really slow and sweet.

This is a real image shifter.

I am re doing all of my projects now.

Ankyu................Ankyu......................Please stay seated.

I am in Prowave Heaven as we speak.

I am inspired to post an mp3 tomight.

I shall give it my best shot.

Just to have these sounds heard.

Look in the Problem threads this weekend as I suffer through Cubase, Reaper, and Sonar.

This shit has to be heard.

Good one, piddi :D

It looks very interesting with this thing. I am still trying to hold back, till it might come in a preset version (hoping). I am not always good at sorting out multiple versions of the same devices.

Cool, you like it too :D
We need a bit patience now, cause you can imagine, that this basic concept cries for even more wired implementations ... I still have some plans which will hopefully lead to something which wouldn't fit into this "starter package"-layout 8) - so presets will come later.

I have hard wired the settings for the Modes, rate, percentage, smoothness, and Frequency. So I am good to go.

I have it inserted in many areas where chorus effects ( yawn, yawn.) were used.

On my slow attack crescendo pads it is stunning. It shifts around so beautifully.

I was running my Rhodes w/ SpaceF's Wax-S and Celmo's Pro Vintage Delay and Auto-Pan from CW. Those effects were used sparsely. The only permanent effect was the PCM91's splash of reverb. I just don't like chorus on the Rhodes as it adds coloring to the sound. It sounds awesome just w/ the reverb only.

But FluLiq is a non coloring effect if that makes any sense :-? , and just makes the Rhodes shift it's image around so well that I don't even need the Auto Pan. It's perfect.

On the Prowave or the Melotron and ARP String pads it moves them around like a phaser w/o coloring them. So when I do add the SSB Modulator to the String Ensemble Pads it would make Dennis DeYoung from Styx envious, as he made the sparkly ARP String / Phaser sound famous in the '80's. He's a fellow Oberheim finatic also.

Styx comes here every year and plays the House Of Blues and I hang a little and shoot the shit w/ the ancient Old Bastards. They'll be here in a few weeks. They're gonna love the sound of the samples w/ FluLiq.

TIP: Enjoy this marvelous effect now and hadwire the modulation choices to some knobs. MCCY wasn't expecting this puppy to become a Dog.

Familiarise yourself with this image shifter as it will soon be Leader Of The Dingo's. THIS DOG WILL HUNT!!

"Which I called the spirit, do not become I now not loosely" babelfish doesn't do Goethe a good service

"The Spirit I invoked / I cannot (easily) get rid of him" (loose translation)

Martin: top quality, top class.

thank you

I guess I erased it accidentally. I still recieve lots of emails from wierdos when my partner had a Strip Joint,

Some of the women auditioning are quite fine, then there's X Felons wanting to be bouncers that think I am her and they also send what they consider to be sexy pictures.

Could you resend the email please, as I am feverish to use this.

I want to stick it in Prowave's inserts on selected presets but it halts the loading process as it searches for a preset list I guess.

Thanks,

JV
