Yeah, I've been thinking about Osiris for a while now, but there's just no way I can afford it in the near future. I wonder how it compares to the Algorithmix
Sound Laundry suite of plugs? Sound Laundry is much less pricey, but then it's not for Scope, so I guess that's understandable from a certain point of view.

Well, thank you all!!!
I'd go for sure for MCCY's plugs, no doubt about it.
And I'll demo everything I can before blowin' away my christmas budget... damn! Why do I work in a small studio an not in a big and whealty venue?
Ok ok... that's life

I'll find the way to spend the money... which is rather easier than making money!!!

I've had a talk on the phone with the developer when Osiris was released for SFP, asking him almost the same question, as Algorithmix also has a couple of more expensive products...
It's significantly better than their budget line, but you don't get the multi-k Euro high-end packs either

I processed one of the example files (vinyl restoration) with the TripleDat version of Osiris. The DSP version performed better, but not dramatically.
Which is exactly what I was told before - he said the methods for clicks and crackle removal hadn't changed much over the years, but they made real progress in the hiss and noise domain.
cheers, Tom

Thanks for the info Tom.

Well, in the new shop it has appeared for a few days only as a part of the synth and sampler pack.
I thought so it wasn't possible to buy it as a single unit, but fortunately I was wrong.
