Brotha Man' Nightscope,
The Cyborg looks great !! The idea of having a gamer here at the Z who knows and loves his Scope is great. As gamers do not sleep until they win. I am sure this attitude is carried over into Scope as well, eh?

The M-Audio action always felt atrocious to me, but to each his own.

[edit] Then again, NO ONE makes a decent MIDI controller anymore.

As for the Lexicon, I have a vision... In the early dawn of October... In the capitol of the world... a new champion of the reverbs is crowned...

Er, I actually don't play games. The "Cyborg" has been drafted in solely to to control mah DAW. It has been reborn anew. Henceforth known as "CyborgScope".

I know about it, and know it's makers. I have heard rumors of it replacing the deadliest 480L's, and 960L's.

The fact that these irreplacable units ( IMHO ) can even be had on ebay tells me the rumors are valid. If they do ......................http://www.bricasti.com/...............
what I have been told they can, I WILL BUY ONE, no matter how many slings and arrows of outrageous fortune I must encounter.

I watched my favorite FOH guys use these for years. The fact that one unit is 8 x PCM91's humbles me, plus the awesome GUI of the LARC.

I used a Kurzweil KSP8 last year in the studio and loved it's design, and the way it distributed the DSP power to multiple effects. But it's sound was nowhere near the Lexicon I cherish so much.

But if they pull off this multiple buss scheme, and use DSP's in the way the Kurzweil attempted to, sadly I will sell my PCM's as I can't afford to build a museum, as there can only be one reverb king in my arsenal.

Maybe in spring there will be a Sore Dick Deal w/ my PCM reverbs, as I know many here would love to use use these most noblest of FX warriors.

And Yes, For piano music the KS88's suck, but for Scope they rule. My Oberheim MC3000 is the best controller for action, and control I ever had, but they have no support apparatus, and w/ a case, are practically impossible to haul around. But when I still had a crew, the sight of it with the Matrix 12 / XPander combo, would cause most players to lose their breath. A most humbling experience.[/b]

Please take some pics in NYC 4 me please, I beg you.
