yeah, of course it looks like that ... and I couldn't resist an ironic remark in another thread, but imho that's just the cover of the book you're reviewing

I agree that it's kind of sad, strictly looking at it from the 'german' perspective, but that's how it goes...
other countries are more competive, have more loyal and motivated employees, economic conditions (less bureaucracy) are better etc.

It's the price this country and it's education system pays for arrogance and lazyness.
Are you informed about the conditions demanded by candidates after they finished their diploma, usually totally unexperienced to real-world business ?
You introduce someone to a project and when he or she sought up enough of the respective company's 'essence' they will quit and start their own business.
In the meantime paid holidays galore, extra social security, 'leisure friendly' schedules etc.

Frank has one single asset, and that's the knowledge and experience about the mechanics behind this DSP system (and how to possibly extend it to other platforms) - a project like inDSP is simply impossible under German conditions - you're either super-effective (in technology) or the music plays elsewhere, so to say...

Many good businesses here will suffer when the democrats take office in 2008, they love to tax the middle class, as the rich have ample time to find tax shelters when they come in. It's a joke, but the good side is Bush will be gone, amd maybe you guys can forgive us 4 unleashing him on the Middle East, and the rest of the world.

From what I understand, Europe is pretty much socialist these days, and it has to be hard to compete with companies like we have here in the states and in Japan. But your time is coming in 2008, and inDSP will be in the right place at the right time IMHO. It is not time yet, 4 the body of Ralf, and I am being overly paranoid by saying this, but I feel that many neopyhte sabotuers will be frequenting here very soon. But like I said, I shall dwell in the house of Ralf, till the cows come home.

I have an IT design, planning and support job (self-employed as I just learned below...) - at least 2 programming projects constantly, 3 guitars, 2 basses, a midi sax and a Scope system, I do outdoor sports like biking and rock-climbing and I love my wife (how does she stand me, btw ?)

Maybe they've never been self-employed, so lack understanding of business realities.....and the personal qualities required to survive.

Setting up in India looks like a brilliant idea. How Frank managed to keep that off Planet Z is a small miracle. Oh yes........ most people would have given up after going through what CW Frank has been through. To me, he seems to be adjusting, learning, and getting stronger and smarter....... and that's why I believe in him .... and whatever form Creamware and Scope may survive and grow in.

There were a (very) few hints by some usually well informed members, saying that there is not really reason for panic...(my words).
That combined with the immediate denial of my idea that the hardware might not have sold enough made me decide to just wait.

My words
There sure some 'dirty' economical tricks are going on here, but expectingly nothing unusual, if that makes sense.
At least things are seriously moving now, and indeed, if the drive behind it is F.H.'s love for the Scope platform then we could be worse off.

hum, ... hard to talk about something we do not really know... we all know that running a company is very complex and none of us know exactly who has got the power and/or the money within creamware... As for the link between creamware and inDSP, that's the same mystery... So, i really think that we do not have enough clues or data to say "that's a good idea" or "that's unfair" or whatever....

What is sure :
- there have been many new products (ASB, Klangs, Dynatube, 3rd party...
- the marketing has been improved (even if not perfect) : the ASB are very good products and are DIFFERENT like scope software is different from the others...
- the hotline has become increasingly efficient (thank you Ralf !)
- annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd...., man, at least we can say there is a MOVE. That's the good news.
