KORE only has 1 stereo spdif out - no ins. I don't know why its flashing at 96 when KORE is set to 44.1

sorry, I meant the Y-cable at the Luna side of things - are you certain which plug is in and which is out ?
The flashing means it looks for a signal at that port , but doesn't receive any usable. Looks like no connection.

cheers, Tom

That was easy enough - one's white and one's red.

Not sure if KORE is sending word clock - maybe thats the problem (though if it is whats the point of it having a digital out?)

Thought I'd post a screenshot of my settings just to see if I'm getting it right at the Scope end. I've set up the simplest project possible just to eliminate variables - just go's straight to my speakers via a channel so I can see if there's any sound at all.

I think this is right but there's no sound even though the light next to spdif presumably means there is a signal (confirmed when I unplug the cable from KORE as it go's out) - however where it says 96 is flashing and it seems to say 96 regardless of whether I have KORE's samplerate set to 44.1 or 96.

Pretty strange... I'd say it needs a bit of troubleshooting to find out if it's the Kore SPDIF out that's not working properly or your Luna's SPDIF in. Do you have another device with digital input that could slave to the Kore, to test it? Maybe you can take the Kore to someone else's studio to test it?

No I don't have access to anything to compare it with. So I did get the setup right then? Should the Master device be set to the same samplerate as the slave?
