is someone could do a test like this :
record a external source from AD to vdat and to samplitude or the crappy cubase , in 24bit. and then import the 24bit file from the native stuff on a next track into the vdat .

There is dithering to consider when changing bit rate, this adds a random element at a low level. Etc...

up to 128 tracks controlled in groups of 8 tracks on 1-16 modules.

ps: there's no better recording than VDAT possible on SFP because it saves exactly what's moved between the DSPs
