Looking good Stige...
Don´t rush yourself, be relaxed and the result will benefit from it.
The demo, sounds very good.
I offer me to convert this to several Kontakt instruments, dry, club, Live etc...
cheers

Thankyou very much for taking the time and effort to do this. It's a big job. I am certainly interested in using it! What are you going to do as far as copyright? You'll want recognition for your work surely (a mention in album credits). You'll want to protect this at least.
Thanks!
PS. A big thanks for keeping it natural too!

Hi, thanks all for encouraging comments

I noticed a little error in my mp3 demo I posted earlier. I had pitch bend turned up by accident, so it was a bit high pitched, lol

. I've got new demos now.
Original:

The same, but second snare:

I've been progressing well, but not finished yet.. Perhaps soon

Take your time, we're not going anywhere. Anyone that's in a hurry to get a drum kit can always try NS Kit (google it if you don't know).

That's great! And when you have a wooden snare, it will be excellent
I can offer a mirror in Finland.

Spoimala, do you have 400 megs of free space in your server? I've got 2 kits now, 200MB each. Thought I'd make an extra kit with less room ambience.
Yep, I've seen dreams about wooden snare..
Bassdude, what comes to copyright, you are free to use the samples in your all productions, no limits. Of course separating them and spreading with other sample collections wouldn't be polite.
Well, if you use them in your music, a link to mp3 or receiving an album would be highly appreciated
I've added a testsong to music section. Testing a kit with less ambience.

New snare sounds really tight and punchy..
I am sad I just bought DFH2 a few weeks ago, it sounds good but this has a much more standard live set sound to it, I actually prefer this set over the DFH set.
Keep up the great work mate!

Cool! It'll be interesting to see how a realistic drumkit like this will work in dance music. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it

Ouch. I have only 350megs free. I'll check if I can free some space.

Good idea. At least for us metalheads

Where do you live? Or make your recordings? If anywhere near Jyväskylä... my friend has a very nice sounding snare, maybe you could use it?
