This is no way to handle a community or even users. Sorry but that is poor.
I fully agree with this remark.

One of the most important assets of a company is the current userbase. In the past there were lot of mistakes made by the original creamware company if you talk about communication. The startup of the new company was very strong. People got enthousiastic again on this board and people were willing to invest again in their setups. Now what do we see in the last month.... I see a lack of communication and deadlines they can not make. I really believe that if a company inform his users in a earlier stage about these kind of delays nobody would mind about this delay. to my opinion this shows respect to the current users.

Let me clarify that i love my creamware setup and plugins. I just don't like the way i am treated as a user by creamware.

It's a double edge sword here,

1. They post a time line and possibly miss it, every one says they are this and that and they hate this or that.

2. They dont post a time line and every one says they are miss treated and uninformed, why cant the company communicate with us.

Its not just CW guys, im sure you all know this, but in CWA's position they are probably thinking about now, how do we take the path of least resistence, which direction causes less anger amongst the community.

Seriously, it not like CWA is sitting around the table saying " Well guys were a new company so lets do our best to piss off all our customers both new and old ( and then every one stands up and with loud voices and cheers "YES!" )...

Bad practice to not communicate sure, but I seriously doubt its an intentional thing to anger any one.

Cheers!

I can imagine your frustrations, but let's trust them, they are understaffed and probably very busy with urgent stuff

I remember the last competition CW held: "Design a ModIII device".

That took *months* to resolve - so long in fact that some were convinced CW had simply forgotten about it.

They eventually came through.

well, the whole "CWA, a new company" thing probably got everyone's expectations too high. Way too high. I don't know about the details, but CWA is the mainly the same CW staff, but substantially less. So it's not like it's a whole different company now.

They'll be the way they were, but probably slower because of the size down. I'd suppose they're renewed in spirit, but as an organization they're still in a tough spot. So I wonder, why does everyone think CWA is going to perform perfectly now that they've changed their company name, and cut down on human resources?

Keep your expectations realistic, and you won't be disappointed.

... I'm a 100% with Ken. Knowing the history of and the recent developments within the company, I don't expect things to go much more fluently now
