That's why i'm sticking mostly to hardware now. It seems to last forever and no updates and never expires and you don't lose your license
I killed my motherboard and Waves uses your MAC address for their licensing system. So yeah, it's been almost a week since I've heard from their tech support. I should be able to change my motherboard once a week if I feel like it. My DX7 doesn't care.
