130 new presets for Saturn !!!

Unfortunatelly I can't load ANY of the pre SFP presets into my older devices (pre 3.0) - I'm on a Mac. I have an idea that may work - could you save the whole device (ie Saturn, which I use a lot) and post it allinclusive?

(I can't load = my SFP crashes, I have tried it many times so it leads me to a conclusion af being unable to load such presets)

well i'm into the update of something else right now, but if you manage to get the open device, i could do it, especially if the work is shared with Wavelength : i know he or I would not need anyone to do it, but that would make it lighter to finish....

Well there have been alot of problems with these presets.
I thaugth about just uppdating these presets but i figured that a 150 new presets for saturn would probably make everyone a little bit more happy =)
And these will be made with SFP so they should work for everyone..with SFP =)
So im going to post a new topic here in the preset forum with the new presets.
No need for you to keep downloading these old ones now.

Since the Saturn obiously use the old "preset interface" where you cannot put a category on a preset, i have named the presets like this:

Example: "TR_Bd 01"

"TR" is the category, in this case a drum preset.
"Bd" is the type of preset in this case a bass drum.
"01" Means that this is the first bass drum.
Childs play ain'it =)

The Snares are named like this:

Example: "TR_Sd 03_(C4)"

This --> (C4) <-- means that it has to be played from note C4 or else
all the snares sound like the same one.
Of course one might notice it after using these presets a while but i like
making things easy, som im telling you now.

I like having a real structure.
Then, you ALWAYS find what you're looking for.

I know you all will reckognize the other types of categorys.

FX = Effect's
LD = Lead
BA = Bass
LOFI = Oooo that one is shure quite obious
BLIPP = heee heheheeeehehhe

KEY = Etc Etc........

Silly mee

All samples is set to only one voice.
And midi channel is set to OMNI for each sample.
Just to make it easy for everyone.

The new presets will be upploaded in 1 - 2 days.
And this time i will Zip the file(s)

Hi Jngaelin,

You can just overwrite the old presets in this thread - then you can edit/update the original first message

And if it's not a problem for you - please, send my via e-mail the whole Saturn with all new presets included. Just to test it works this way of sharing presets PC -> Mac

Well that sounds like a great idea' !!!

One problem only.
My e-mail service wont allow me to send files over 1 MB

!!!

So could you be so kind enough to add me to your ICQ ? Iv'e allready sent a request to you.
Easier to send/recieve files that way.

Mabye i should consider doing this instead.

Finally im done with the presets.
I've made 130 presets for this miracle device. I want to make more but they all started sounding the same.
Im sure that happens to all of you some times

You're tweaking and tweaking and suddenly you are happy with the sound...then you realize you allready have a preset that sound just like it. Things like that really pinches my nerves

What im waiting for now is for Samplaire to test the presets first...if he says it works...then i will post them.

But im seriously considering posting the whole device in the device forum with my updated preset list. Im sertain that there would be none of the previous problem with preset lists that needs to be "converted" etc etc..
It would just work !!!

When first saturn whent out it came with one great Flute Preset that i am looking for ..
