Yeah, hi there, what would have been your reactions if creamware brought there pulsar system out on the market in a supernova, virus or MS2000 way (they did tough). At my music gear dealer i played some analog synth's, the only one would consider to buy is the supernova. The virus Operation System sucks !!
I think that's the whole issue here. The software orientated instruments (VST,DXi,Pulsar, etc) are not accepted as professional gear.
I like pulsar because its flexible, and i agree with most of the guys here. "Know how to use it"
Analog synth's
Well that topic is lame anyway so why propogate it further? Leave that junk to the creamware forum
Yeah I agree, the Virus has a pretty horrible user interface. I was surprised they didn't fix that with the Virus Keyboard, instead they simply grafted on keys.
I think the most challenging part of convincing someone to buy Creamware DSP cards, is that they don't understand what it is, or what it does, and they simply see it as a sound card with "proprietary plugins." This is true, but these things work in real time on DSPs just like a digiFX box or virtual analog. I think different form factors (see some of my <a href=http://planetz.ghostwheel.com/forums/vi ... 5>hardware suggestions</a>) would really help sell more cards, perhaps even dedicated boxes.
In the end, this product isn't meant for people who really want a rompler....
