Wow, hard workers indeed!

Maybe too early to ask, but are Adern planning on developing "conventional" (ie. non-modular) devices for SFP as well?
I'm not really a modular guy myself but this stuff seems to be real high-quality.

Ah, so it's the same people behind both these devices? I didn't know that. Thanks for enlightening me
The vocoder definitely has my interest, although I'm waiting for some comparisons between this and CW Vocodizer.

Comparisons, Comparisons...
1st, yes, i am a part of orbitone, and also a part of adern.

Vorb, is imho an excelent vocoder totaly diferent than CW's. intuitive, fast, and very good sounding.

Orbitone is a product of an amazing colaboration of John Cooper, Sander Baan and me (Assaf Dar).

Adern is a diferent colaboration, of Eyal Rav Niv and me.

and as you will soon see, the concepts of these tow companies are totaly diferent. and are both worth checking out!

A questions, once I prepared a modIII patch with Flexor modules and share them with others, is it a must to have a copy of Flexor to use Flexor patches?
Thanks, I can´t wait to get your modules.

I am 99.9999% positive, that you have to have a Flexor license to use the modules. If it was not so, there would be a lot of people exploiting the "option" of using Flexor for free.

Hi!

i know, it has been a long time since i annoucned flexor, and some of you emailed me requarding it, so, instead of sending the same bummer mail, ill just post it here...

it seems, that the last stages of setting price, and date of release, are getting detained a bit, due to the presure in cw's noah development (and its important they finish it! so dont start flaming them..), and the holidays now...

i will only be smarter on the other half of this week, when i hope that we will be able to close these details, and release flexor finaly, which is ever evolving, growing (now i counted 63 modules) and tested. so dont worry, flexor is being upgraded with new modules. even before its out to you ehehe!

so, fear not, i am trying to get this moving as fast as posible!, this is detaining my live act !!!!

peace!

You mean, you are not free to set the price and release date of your OWN modules without the approval of Creamware ?????

simple
in order for you to buy the product, CW have to put it in the shop.
you have to remember, that we are using their software as a host (not just sfp, but Modular)

we are also trying to make a special deal reguarding the price so this takes time. i can only say, that the full price of the pack is going to be 99Eu (this is not yet an official announcement).

this pack is an effort of years of development, and we decided to give it a low price, so that everybody can have one, and boost his pulsar with totaly new sounds, and creeative innovisions, providing he is curiouse enough to deal with modular

So,
as i said, flexor is finished. and shoudl be out there once all those small and lasting details are closed  i can say its progressing now, and i hope, we will be able to release it in tow weeks from now.
the official details it seems, will come out with the product, pretty soon!

If this stuff is worth the hype, then this will be a steal!

That's great to hear. So...are you planning on any more marketing for this, besides here on planetZ and probably CW site/newsletter. Maybe together with Creamware? I mean, it would make a great occasion for a modular-centered advertising campaign for CW. If you could interest some magazine like Sound on Sound or Computer Music to run a review/feature of the CW modular and the flexor stuff that would be nice.
Maybe it doesn't work like that though, I'm just venting stuff that's in my head

In my fantasy world I'd like to see three prices:

1) Special this-month-only price for Flexor, maybe $89
2) Upgrade bundle for Mod-II owners: you get Mod-III and Flexor
3) Bundle deal for non-Mod users of Mod-III and Flexor.

Anyway, I'm still very keen to see what the sequencer modules look like
