I am selling two of my PCI soundcards by Creamware as I moved to Xite-1 recently.

Price: 590 Euro for the bundle.
Location: Germany.

Pulsar 2 with 6 DSP chips

• Connections: 4x ADAT, breakout cable with consumer audio connections
  Software: SCOPE v7
  Additional plugins:
  - BlackBox III 3 Full Bundle
  - KrOn "Max Pack"

Luna with 3 DSP chips

• Connections: SPDIF, stereo analog I/O, MIDI I/O, Z-Link

A connecting cable is included to use both cards together.

Yes, I was using this PCI card combo for years, but recently moved to Xite-1... so maybe someone here finds a use for both or one of these old PCI cards. The Luna card by the way got all the capacitors fully replaced last year.

Ah, didn‘t know and I also don't understand the reason why, I don‘t understand why I have to rebuy a software only to have an updated driver to make it work on a newer OS.

For the same reason that you buy an updated version of the software to run on a newer operating system. It cost costs money for the developer to make it.

Not of the same opinion I paid 10000 $ when I bought the cards and the developer should at least update the driver for free to have the hardware to work with the newer OS, I‘m not asking for new software I have all I need! But the driver should be free just my opinion

It's not a simple soundcard with a driver, Scope is a full application. Feel free to express your opinion, but you spammed many threads here (I left 2 posts and cleaned up the rest) and this is not S|C's forums, they are ours as a community. No spamming, please.

angialfa, SonicCore did not make the PCI cards, so SonicCore got ZERO dollars from you for that. they are not required to make anything for obsolete cards(the PCI slot is obsolete), but v7 IS made and it did cost a lot of money to make. why whouldn't you have to pay?

SonicCore is not Creamware.

I think it's an odd discussion. RME for example stopped delivering drivers for my first cards with the end of XP, making you buy new hardware, too.
I bought my first PCI cards around 1999, 8 years before the first iphone or android came out, when Win98 was "state of the art".
Scope still has a working driver, but nobody has a current OS on a mobile, that came out in 2007.

Writing a driver required highly skilled programmers, as an error crashes the whole OS. Unfortunately, M$ changes the driver model with each release and enforces signing. A modern driver is not just talking to your hardware, but also caring about powerstates of the PC, which makes it very complicated. Linux is not completely different, but opensource helps, as many entusiasts can cooperate.
A contract to port a driver from a previous linux to the current kernel can easily cost $50000, which must fit into a business case.

So I'm glad that there is still a driver available, so I don't loose my investments. As scope isn't opensource, my only way to contribute is to pay for an update.

I decided to continue to use my old PCI cards for some more time, as I managed to setup a "new" legacy Win7 32-bit PC during holidays.

What about kind of crowd funding?

How many SCOPE users around ?
When everyone is willing to pay,- lets say ... 30 bucks,- would that help to realize a perfect working, multi-client 64Bit SCOPE ASIO driver by hireing a skilled/specialized coder?

SCOPE 8 is a different story.
Who helped collecting funds for the driver get´s a discount when ready, all the other pay full price for the update.

Do we have about 2000 Scope users around the globe still ?
