Re: ADAT Clicks and noise
When you switched to 48khz (and the clicks were gone) the „problem“ was solved with the same PSU...

Re: ADAT Clicks and noise
both 48k and 44.1k work equally well(100%), when sync is set correctly and the hardware is working.
did you try using one unit with bnc?
if you tested everything and are sure that it's all setup correctly, then you need to contact support for service/testing. there aren't any special tricks or techniques...

Re: ADAT Clicks and noise
You can't change the power supply for the ultragain. They have internal switching supplies (at least the ADAT 8200, which is shown in the picture).
Re: ADAT Clicks and noise
Thanks for you suggestion. But cliks and noise occurs even when Ultragain is off...DragonSF wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2025 7:07 pm You can't change the power supply for the ultragain. They have internal switching supplies (at least the ADAT 8200, which is shown in the picture).
Re: ADAT Clicks and noise
it might be not the case
but i used to have two pci cards with adat cables and if the pc was hot, it would start clicking
the remedy was to pull out adat cables slightly, how to say, to put them a bit further for the optical eye to focus better
it was perhaps caused by heat expansion of some plastic optics or what... it was weird but predictable - and better case cooling would fix it!

Re: ADAT Clicks and noise
Clicks and noise remain with my other interface (an eurorack adat interface by expert sleepers) when ultragain is off
