Midi cc 66 on minimax - sostenuto

Hi. I’ve been spending some time with my minimax on my plugiator. The help file says it receives the CC for sostenuto. I can’t hear that it does anything. It doesn’t seem to work like sustain and hold open any gates. I think I am expecting it to only hold the gates for notes playing at the point the pedal was pressed. That certainly would be cool. I’m sure it does something or it wouldn’t be listed as a supported CC. Does anyone know what it does?

the assignment is probably preset in the plugiator, but not firmly bound. i can't find any reference for minimax in scope
