Shoutout for DAWMAN

Post by RA »

Just visiting after a while...and just want to give a shoutout for our brother Dawman. Jimmy...i miss reading your posts. The Scope universe is not the same without you. We loved you in our way, and you loved us in your unique way. Peace brother! You meant something to us.

Yeah that !

Thx RA,- he´ll be missed here forever,- and not only here.
I really hope, all he did w/ Scope, Solaris and all the other tools he used to create "his rig" isn´t lost.
There must have been an incredible pool of patches,- Scope synths, Modular I - IV, Solaris and in combination w/ U-he Zebra HZ and sample libraries, all fine tuned for live and studio work.
So I hope "junior" is able to make some usage from.

:)

... having shots of Jaeger with Bob, Dave and Klaus ... talking about sound and „fine trim“ :D
But he was so much more than his famous jokes, really miss him...

Right now, I tend to be emotional about this. It is not just losing a friend and a great musician, it is the state of things in the world. If we replicate this pain my millions of families, it is something massive. So much suffering is hard to hold in your heart. Nevertheless, I have always thought that physical life is not the end of life itself, it is just a passage, and I think Jimmy believed something similar as well. I have had Covid three times, so I thought about the possibility of death, the last one was really bad.

The only person I used to talk about spiritual things among us all in the Z, was Jimmy. He had a syncretic approach to mystical thinking, he believed that all religions had something in common and truth was everywhere. He also believed in different Hindu Gods. He was interested in the Hindu Theology but did not mentioned it openly.

Following these thoughts, I wish for him to be submerged in the Light of the Inner Worlds, without the heavy burden of a physical body and happy like a little child.

It would be nice for his son to post here, in the Music section of the Z, his creations, so we can listen at him again and be with him again. Thank you.

Hey my friends, I've been away from here awhile - just hearing all of this now. Hold Jimmy in the highest esteem. Will burn one for him today.
Love to all, Wayne

Hear hear Yayajohn.

Living is deadly!

We don't fear death, just the way it will happen. Somehow it is reassuring to know if you left a good memory to somebody or some people. Fellow scopians...please make memories with your loved ones!
